When milk sits sour in our stomachs we must puke it out. Sadly, this is the case with many message boards, which, claim to offer an impartial gathering place … for the posting of political views, regardless of political differences; promising that the only thing which will not be tolerated by the board administrators is a personal attack on any of its members. An often, unwritten, unstated message within the board is the one which should read, stay clear of this board if you differ from our politics. Actually, there was once such a board.  Its goal statement was infinitely clear.

Dare differ from mainstream thinking in any such boards, and be prepared to receive an onslaught of personal attacks--from that of being ridiculed, to that of not being taken seriously, to being insulted, to being forever banned from such sites.

Saying that you consider the shoe-thrower in Iraq, a hero, whose actions expressed not only his own anger and disgust at Bush for his criminal invasion and occupation of Iraq, but  also, symbolically expressed the anger of the many Americans and worldwide citizens who opposed Bush for his invasion and occupation of Iraq, as well as for his stealing of the 2000 and 2004 elections, and be prepared to be sentenced to expulsion without trial …

Boards, despite claims of being non-partisan can lean rabidly one way or the other. A Republican slanted board excuses Bush for all of his sins, “it was not his fault,” or perhaps even worse, “Bush did nothing wrong.“ “He was, after all, defending our country,” they say.  A rabidly leaning Barack Obama board offers the same sheltering to Barack Obama for his sins.

I am constantly surprised by the “finger” smileys, the, “blow the o-hole” smiley signs, and other some such expressions of absolute dislike for Obama and other raw emotional showings of Obama displeasure like sour milk being energetically expelled from one’s system.

Like sour milk in the stomach which needs to be puked out, I contributed my own portion of raw emotional dislike for Obama on another board which is no longer in existence. I hope that whenever I did so, I did it by first giving some logical explanation as to why I did not believe in Obama, did not buy his Koolaid or his persona, did not buy into the myth of his oratory, or of his inspirational candidacy, and ultimately, did not give him my vote.

Milk indeed soured in my stomach after votes were taken from Hillary’s Florida and Michigan victories and simply, just given, to Obama’s vote count to place him on top of the Democratic ticket. Use of any rational or logical explanation for my anger about the Obama nomination was harder to put into logical words after that, and I too puked my anger out at him in basically the same fashion that surprises me these days.

People have to go at their own pace and they each march to the beat of a different drummer.

My anger eventually receded.  Milk no longer sours in my stomach, leaving room for me to figure out just how I really feel, and what I really think about these United States which I see as broken into a hundred thousand pieces these days.

I do not need to vomit my anger against Obama. But, I do not need to excuse him for the commission of his sins, either.  I hope I can look objectively at him and evaluate his policies.  These are the Obama policies now--regardless of the source, or the context that he took inspiration for them from.

At this point, I question why is Obama expanding the use of states’ privilege first put in place by the Bush administration.  I question why, Eric Holder, our current AG, the man who held Janet Reno in his arms, (our shoot-straight as an arrow AG during the Clinton administration as she cried over the news that Elian Gonzalez had been rescued from those holding him hostage in Miami and had been delivered to his father’s arms) upholding the states' privileges policies.

Why, is Holder, Janet Reno’s #1 man at the State Department, taking this position on states’ secret when, I distinctly remember Janet Reno testifying to Congress, shortly after our 9/11 American Reichstag that going after terrorists did not need the formation of a Homeland Security Department--that terrorists could be gone after through existing law enforcement agencies.

And lastly, I also question why is Obama not getting rid of Tim Geithner and Larry Summers.  Why is he keeping on board men who continue those policies which helped create this economic meltdown.  Men whose obvious purpose is to continue to rescue banks (which create money out of thin air) with ACTUAL tax dollars earned by the sweat of the brow of hard working Americans.  Dollars paid to the National Coffers, not for the purpose of rescuing rich, greedy bankers who create money out of thin air and need our hard earned actual dollars to keep them afloat.  Dollars which we all believed were taxed from us for the purpose of helping the worker if at any time he became unemployed, for helping the retired, the aged, the infirmed, the needy.

I question why Barack Obama is allowing his economic policies, in the hands of Tim Geithner and Larry Summers, to continue to deepen the divide between the haves and have nots.

I also question why is Barack Obama not bringing back home those jobs which were offshored by American companies gone abroad.
