Preparing for Economic Collapse | Peak Prosperity

Everyone on OPEDNEWS is talking doom and gloom. I don't see any articles that paint a picture of prosperity and hope for our country. Indeed, it's no secret that our corporate run media has become the presstitute. Spewing out nothing but propaganda. The wikileak revelation of government overreach and misconduct, along with Snowden's whistle blowing, and the NSA spying on Americans is just the tip of the iceberg of all the troubles we face as a nation. Our country has been at war for 214 years, and 75 years since World War ll. Perpetual war is how the powers that be stay in power. Most wars, since World War ll have been, not to fight off aggression, but rather to occupy other countries and steal resources. I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know. I simply, in this article want to make a laundry list of the crap that's going on.

The fiscal state of the nation is abysmal. According to Jim Rickards, who was the head of the CIA financial department, the country is fiscally in the same shape as when, in 1929 before the stock market crash. All the charts show that this is so. Catharine Austin Fitts who was in HUD says that someone is systematically channeling all the money out of the government. She believes, that most of the money is being kept in satellites in outer space. The government is printing money at an alarming rate, and we are at nearly 0 percent interest rate, and there is no room to raise them without toppling the economy. We are 19 trillion dollars in debt, and Congress cannot control spending. We are spending trillions of dollars on war, and the unfunded mandates are far larger than the national debt. We are maxed out on our credit we cannot control our spending, and the Fed is barely keeping the stock market afloat though QE easing. So many trend setters believe the economy will collapse. That's if we don't start World War lll with the Russians.

Of course, the world in general is a very harsh place outside the United Stated in particular. Most of the people in the world live in poverty, when, with free energy we could feed everyone, and have an equitable world. Today 18,000 people in the world die each day from starvation, most of whom are children. 850 million people are hungry and malnourished. With the wars going on in Syria, and in other parts of the Middle East, there are countless refugees, who are living a nightmare, a living Hell. Country after country seems to be failing. Mexico, our neighbor, has become a country infested with drug lords. They kill indiscriminately, and often behead their victims. They extort the local citizenry, and rape women. Human trafficking and slavery are a reality in this world.

Government officials in the U.S. just are corrupt. There is no way around saying it, or trying to smooth things over. How many countless Congressmen and Senators have been caught having affairs? Not to mention presidents. And that's just the ones that get caught. President Nixon left office for committing a crime. Need I mention 911. With so much corruption, and the fiscal status of the U.S., the debt we are facing, it just seems like things are coming to a head. We simply can't go on like this. We have gotten here by design. The Neo-Cons have hijacked the country, and now we have to refer to it as the homeland. Remember the fatherland?

With banks charging interest on top of principle, there is no way for all the interest to be paid, and we are kept in perpetual debt. Now, unemployment is at record highs, and productivity is at record lows. You say you want to fix the system? Frankly I don't see how.

The problem is too systemic. I would definitely like to offer a solution, but I really don't think there is one. May God bless America.

I've been retired for sometime now and have spent my time learning how to watercolor and doing a lot of research on the net. I take care of my mother and from time to time enjoy writing for OpEdNews. I live near San Antonio Texas on a two acre (more...)
