What Dyed-In-the-Wool Christians, Muslims and Jews Do Not Understand

It's amazing that so many things have been turned upside down and backwards, and so few people realize it.

But, it’s just as the greatest and most true prophets predicted. That is, false prophets and spiritually blind shepherds have been leading their blind flocks far astray and alienating them from main-stream society, claiming to be the true Christians or Muslims or Jews.

Of course, most Christians, Muslims and Jews are good people. But, in fact, some are not. False shepherds have created a group superiority complex in their blind flocks, leading them to believe they are "holier" than the rest of us. The false Christians claim they are waging a "holy crusade," and have even gotten their blind flocks to condemn and even kill those they judge as "godless" enemies, in a so-called "holy war." The false Muslims do the same thing, claiming they are waging a "jihad" against the "infidels." And the false Jewish leaders do the same thing, claiming that they are merely fulfilling prophecy by killing or driving out the enemies of God.

Arrogantly proud and militant Christians miss the point of the Christ's actual teachings. For example, they fear a "coming" Antichrist, but they do not understand that the spirit of the Antichrist was already in the world two thousand years ago, just as Jesus said, and it is very much alive today in many leaders who now hold misguided political and/or "religious" power, who judge, hate, and even kill their enemies, all against the advice of Jesus.

And most Christians do not understand that the Christ Jesus himself will not come again, but has sent the Spirit of truth, who issues judgment, guides us unto truth, shows us things to come, and glorifies the Ancient One (aka the Christ) who is with God in heaven. That is real Christian prophecy, and it is fulfilled.

As Jesus prophesied, the modern, current son of man, also known as the witness and servant of God and the messenger for the Spirit of truth, has been rejected by his generation. He is a man of sorrows, and well acquainted with grief. But he is also incensed, because the arrogantly proud and militant leaders who are responsible for most of the conflict, division and violence in the world make a show of religiosity and claim to be devout Christians or Jews or Muslims, when they are really not.

After all, Solomon of ancient Israel, renowned for his great wisdom, said that pride goes before destruction and an arrogant spirit before a fall, and it is better to be of a humble spirit than to join the proud and militant in their aggressive and offensive pursuit of the "spoils" of war.

The Christ Jesus, a spiritually anointed and enlightened son of man, Sacrificial Lamb of God (and a great "bleeding heart" liberal progressive), agreed with that, and he added that we should love even our enemy. He also advised against retaliation, and against living by the sword, and he even declared that the meek are blessed and shall inherit the earth. Then, to top it off, he willingly martyred himself and sacrificed his life to set a good example and culminate his teachings regarding peace, love, tolerance, forgiveness, and pacifism. He was a true martyr.

Islam's founder, Mohammed, knew and respected the teachings of Jesus, and he stated that killing is always evil, and that indiscriminate killing is especially evil. Moreover, like Jesus, he advised against retaliation and against force or coercion in religious matters, and he commanded Muslims to "be very courteous to Jews and Christians because we all believe in the same God."

The truth is that it is NOT God’s wrath that has brought down the wars and the seven plagues and all the other terrible things that have caused increasing suffering, death and destruction. It is the vain folly of Man, and we are merely reaping what we have sown.

This terrible ordeal and tribulation will end when WE unite and put an end to the reign of religious bigots, nationalists, imperialists, racists, hatemongers, and warmongers. We can render them powerless by educating and helping their blind flocks to see how and why they have been misled.

Please, help me and a growing number of others spread the word, because the son of man remains "hidden." He sends his work before him, and will not cause his voice to be heard in public, just as the prophet Isaiah foresaw and foretold.

He tells us that it is the written word of truth, and nothing but the truth, that shall unite us, empower us, and liberate us from all those who want to rule over us. And he waits for us to spread the word, and do what needs to be done.

I'm an ex-Nun, and I became so after reading the writings of Karen Armstrong, who is also an ex-Nun. She wrote the best-selling books, The History of God, and The Battle for God, and she makes a lot of sense to me. However, more recently I've read the writings of a man who feels the same way about the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam), but I think more comprehensively understands what is really needed in the world – a reformation of religion and a reformation of government, to create a family of equal religions, and to establish government that respects all religions equally and is truly of, by and for the people. He writes anonymously, under the pen name of Joseph J. Adamson, because he submits it is the truth that the nation and the world needs, rather than another person seeking and competing for personal power from behind a podium or pulpit. His web site is at http://reformationcomingsoon.bravehost.com

Bush must go. End of story.
Jay FosterBush must go. End of story.

I just had to share this with you...

I thought you’d like to check out the political allegory of mine that I recently found a literary agent for. It’s a story set in the context of a teacher discussing with his class all of the evidence that the Bush administration is as corrupt as it is incompetent; and how to rectify the Constitutional crisis we face. It’s couched in a discussion about the urgent need to stop abusing Mother Nature. I wrote in 3 dozen celebrities to play the students, so it’s very funny despite how infuriating it is. You can read it at www.stoplittering.com/theswitch.htm      and, yes, StopLittering.com is my site.

And enjoy this poem of mine…

If Jesus Were Alive Today

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd surely feel despair,
Amidst a world of plenty,
And a bounty that's not shared.

If Jesus were alive today,
He wouldn't understand,
The system of oppression,
And how so few give a damn.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd certainly be distraught,
Because the animals of Earth,
Are not treated as they ought.

If Jesus were alive today,
His eyes would have some tears,
And based on all the evidence,
I'd say he was sincere.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd have to jump and shout,
To wake us from our slumber:
"THE FUTURE IS IN DOUBT!!"

If Jesus were alive today,
You know he'd try in vain,
To save us from each other...
(No doubt he'd go insane.)

If Jesus were alive today,
I expect we'd be rebuked;
It is likely he'd remark:
"Knock it off before I puke."

If Jesus were alive today,
No way he'd vote for Bush;
To those who say he should,
He'd say,"Kiss my tush!"

If Jesus were alive today,
With Bushies he'd be pissed:
"Ignorance is no defence!
Otherwise, get yourself a psychiatrist."

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd put John Kerry in his place,
As the world's lamest candidate:
"Why'd they even let that Jackass race?!"

If Jesus were alive today,
Boy, would Congress get a smack,
For practically everything they've done,
Especially for trusting Jr. with Iraq.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd say the media was to blame:
"Don't think I haven't noticed,
That you people have no shame."

If Jesus were alive today,
The Democrats he would scorn,
For keeping out Wes Clark:
"Was it yesterday these fools were born?!"

If Jesus were alive today,
His sense of humor would be great.

Too wry, perhaps, for some,

But that’s how he’d get laid.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd be branded as a cynic,
Because no one wants to hear,
If it's raining at their picnic.

If Jesus were alive today,
He'd force us all to see,
That hope and love are the answer,
To who we're supposed to be.

There's much truth in that

I think it's important to say that he who bears testimony of the Christ (and Buddha and Avatar) today, emphasizes this point:

The Spirit of truth is here not to condemn, but to educate; not to punish, but to correct; and not to destroy, but to save.

But that's not to say that he's soft. In fact, the message cannot be lukewarm. According to prophecy it must be firm, strong, and even passionately hot or bluntly cold, to properly deal with those who have made such a mess of things.
