As the conflict continues to develop, both Hamas and Israel's regime are more staunch in their positions, which proves nothing but what we stated initially:
A) VoteStrike.com is against both poles of terrorism, i.e. Israel's nuclear-power military government, and the politically-based Hamas.
B) Hamas is one pole of terrorism that has spread its terror within Palestine, Gaza in particular, prior to its rocket attacks toward Israel. Palestinians were already fed up with Hamas. Hamas sent an invitation to religious-racist-right wing factions of Israel for a new round of terrorists attacks . The Israeli government welcomed it.
C) Israeli is ALSO involved in terrorism in this conflict. Its assaults are targeting- or at least indifferent to- the innocent civilian population. These atrocities must be stopped: it is not engaged in a military war with Hamas- which has little in the way of arms. Israeli now claims that it will continue the "war" until it topples Hamas. They remain mindless of the fact that this conflict has NO MILITARY solution. It must be dealt with on a political level.
D) Arab nationalists, i.e. most Arab countries, along with the US, are supporting Israel because they are at odds with Political Islam. They too believe that this assault will eliminate Hamas. They care nothing about the suffering and murder upon the general population. The horrible pictures of children's bodies are still more horrendously used by Hamas ONLY to gain sympathy for their cause.
E) I believe the "post 9/11 era" is over. This conflict will not cause a major popularity for Hamas nor Israel:
Our lives in the middle-east do not need to be written by terrorists. There is a third force, which so far has played only a small role in determining this long, ongoing conflict: us- civilized, peace-loving humanity. I believe WE are waking up. WE have been the victims in their raging wars. WE are the middle-ground, secular, led by the left. WE can stop these terrorists. We have already begun to show our unity and our voice against the Israeli government through protests in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, The Hague, and several American cities. If it weren't for Hamas' terror in Gaza, WE would have joined the Israeli people openly and loudly in Gaza as well to oppose Hamas in Gaza.
Promote PEACE and FREEDOM in Palestine-Israel!
No more IMF indiscriminant airstrikes!
No more starvation of the Palestinian people!
No more heatless winters for the Palestinian people!
NO MORE TERRORISM BY EITHER SIDE!
