Actually, all this focus on why Obama won the nomination is just so much distraction. Being fascinated how a game turned out and looking at the replay for clues is unworthy of us, unless there be some knowledge gained for future use.

Let's try to grasp as much of present reality as much as we can as we consider where to place our efforts during the next game of pseudo-democratic choice that will end soon enough on November 2nd.

Even if all the articles on why Obama won were taken seriously, without that proverbial grain of salt, we would still have to admit that Obama is probably capable of processing  surrounding circumstances and still keeping to the goal of his becoming Emperor while not being unaware of all the forces cause-and-effecting his enthronement.

In addition, one might assume that Obama like almost all emperors before him, will probably have the desire, hope and/or illusion of being his own man, even in the face of the realities he will continue to allow and/or be forced to allow to manipulate him quasi entirely.

Within our standing in awe of the unanswerable questions of why we or anything exists at all in this wonder of life, we should for our own sanity and morality continue to speak the truth in the face of mediaocratic America's present and desperate criminality causing horror and ignominious death, corruption and unhappiness for so much of mankind for the foolish short term profits of invested private wealth of the unethical powerful.

Rather than spend time bitching about what already is and has been and will be, we should carefully place our moral, happy and intelligent two cents on the scales with gratitude and equanimity.

Rather than overblow the importance of this pathetic domestic election-show, let us keep in mind events in Chiapas, Nepal, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Zimbabwe, Cuba, China, India, Japan, Russia, Korea, and in every country in this capitalist dominated world, and put it all into perspective.

For non-capitalists and progressives to lay low during this charade as they did during the last election, hoping that Kerry might after his election change his stripes, would be disappointing for the rest of mankind watching.

Jus' let's keep on truckin.' Keep our eye on the beauty and kindness of the common folk the world over, and not let them down. And let's remember:

HOPING TO REFORM CAPITALISM MAKES YOU COMPLICIT IN ITS INIQUITIES/4
Books

Whatever one wants to call whatever takes its place, it is the inhumanity, even murderous criminal insanity of the totally materialist and mindless capitalist system that we are living through right now. Those of us who merely try to make it a bit less monstrous, are more acquiescent to its continuance, than its being replaced with something more intelligently human.
