Here's an idea.  Not my idea, but a very attractive idea.
.
There's a petition kicking around the WEB to support Senator Bernie
Sanders for president in 2012.   What a rocket shot!  We'd no longer be faced with the two-headed snake of the Hopey-Changey rhetorician versus the Party of Privilege.  We could in fact go a third way, or -- now get this -- perhaps just a second way if we could get enough Dems to support this decent alternative in their convention.
.
Senator Sanders is NOT of the Lesser-Evil persuasion.  What he is is a decent person.  How long has it been since we've had one of those in the White House?
.
Think about supporting this initiative.  It's time to break out of the clutches of the Lesser-Evil shysters and go for some decency.  Time to stop worrying about the dreaded "machine" and go for the person.  Time to put aside fears and reservations and to dismiss the bullshit that Peace and such as Medicare and Social Security must suffer to support a corrupt economy that benefits Greed Inc.
.
We need to get beyond kowtowing to the "practicalities" of partisan politics.  I am sick over the debate on the plan to withdraw from the Middle East in 2014! and that "withdraw" doesn't actually mean withdraw, but -- typical of Obama's double-speak -- draw down a bit, then get ready for Iran, while supporting the blockade of Gaza.  And I could throw up over what the party of FDR is conspiring over with the party of Bushco to cripple our social programs while gifting our treasure to the Banksters.
.
I'm literally sick of it all.  I need some decency in DC.  I would work to support such as Senator Sanders.  And I would certainly vote for him.
