Reports of election snafus are already pouring in: Long waits, machine glitches, purged voters...the list goes on.

Think it's only outside Illinois? Think again.

* Oprah Winfrey's voting machine didn't register her vote on the first try. Luckily, she caught it. http://www.democracynow.org/2008/11/3/headlines#4 (Our suggestion? Use a paper ballot.)

* Thousands of first-time voters will have their absentee ballot tossed out because they mailed it without a copy of their photo ID. (Didn't know that requirement? Join the club.)

* Attempts to wantonly purge voter rolls have already taken place in DuPage and Lake Counties.

* Poll judges in some jurisdictions have been violating the law: They haven't been giving voters a copy of the corrected language for the con-con referendum.

Ever wanted to tell everyone what happened when you tried to vote?

Now you can.

We've created a webpage where you can broadcast your experiences--verbatim, unfiltered, complete--to troubleshooters, to your fellow voters, to journalists, to public officials, and to election analysts.

Your report appears instantly.  You can even publish your audio and video files.

We're seeking problems of any kind--at the polls, during registering, or in trying to obtain info or materials. No problem is too small.

File your report on election day, and voters and troubleshooters are alerted immediately. After election day, we'll still be welcoming and publishing your reports up until the inauguration.

Didn't bump into any problems? Great! Then just visit our blog and see what problems others have undergone.

It's way past time that we took elections problems by the "bullhorn."
