Romney still attracted to failed businesses, Edwards free to swing, and GW back in the WH.   Is it any wonder I don't write to report what's re-reported as news, using 19th century financial models to manipulate 21st market thoughts.   No, we have plenty of rehearsed experts for that.

I write to open locked doors, hiding secrets in the wings.   From my palette my colors hope to inspire connecting the dots reasoning, discovering truth desire kept out of sight in out of mind media hype.

For instance, I just met a man we used to call boy, who's now ashamed to call himself Christian.   Past labels fail present, making bearing the shamed sacred cross too prickly due to infected wounds chiseled by a thousand cuts of hypocrisy.

Scenes shrouding clandestine manners between bedroom sheets and ledger bookkeeping, pulled curtains in papal chambers, veiled halls of justice, financial palaces and FB investment subterfuge abounding -- perhaps keepers of the Pearly Gates will deny passage to the far too many pulpit dwellers in priestly robes, shower coaches and teachers teaching out of school lessons.

In black and white days, my football cousin and I fought over watching TV sports or movies, until our media wars ceased fire for Grandmamma's favorite soaps and Oral Roberts.   Millions kneeling before the media altar, laying hands on living room TV sets, as Roberts preached, "Jesus is Passing By."

With camera and mike, almost anyone can regurgitate the hot story du jour in repetitious chorus conducting the senses of even the most addicted news junkie into dulled oblivion, glazed over Left and Right talking points from talking heads of a media paradise lost in its own maze of self-perpetuating re-runs, rendering what was barely news worthy, into overdone Trumped up redundancy.

Enslaved public awareness overcooked like bankers' books until hooked by next hyper distraction:   gossiping choirs vocalizing new heights off key, falling flat victims of recycling Rovian Rush to bottom out in next news cycle pitch.

The dangerous game of reactive politics, swinging voting pendulum from Right to Left, then back again but further Right, until even canonized Reagan cannot see "The City on a Hill" reflected in our mirror of "Exceptionalism," now disinformation distorted.

This war we're in is neither new nor GW begun, but having better tools of discernment, we can resist prevailing media winds of discourse, and sail on, overcoming our desire to give up or give in.

Our nation has evolved through our war:   races pitted against race, fear attacking risk, uncivil south rising again against north, conservative vs. liberal, and battle of the sexes.   Even before our Declaration of Independence from it, it has always been by any other name, simply "Our Only War:' the takers vs. the taken -- between those who choose owing and those who yield to being owned.

One half of our Second Continental Congress pleading for freedom from oppression as "something in the air' akin to morality, enticing us to self-realization, while one percent predecessors banked on , ""most men with nothing would rather protect the possibility of becoming rich than face the reality of being poor."

Desperate times can breed extreme passionate "Me first" self-protection at the expense of love (and compromise with) thy neighbor:   Spawning selfish self-protection's recipe for self-destruction.

We now live in an America where GW got two turns and Mitt may leave Obama with only one.   Are we birthing a new nation of conservatism which a Liberal like Jesus is passing by?
