To All Americans Who Are Fed up with Corruption

Friends:   Big-money special interests have taken over our government at every level.  Recent Supreme Court decisions guarantee that even more money will be spent by a few people to control the government and write the laws that screw us and benefit them. This corruption costs us hundreds of billions every year and millions of jobs have been lost because of it. There is only one reason why these people contribute millions, and that is to get billions. This will continue until we, the people, stand up for our own interests.

We can start with the Florida governor's race, where two big-money candidates are duking it out.  Republican Gov. Rick Scott made over $300 million from Medicare fraud then bought the 2010 election for himself. He sold out our people and our environment to big-money special interests, and tries to give away our tax money to big business for a few jobs. He has collected millions in campaign money from people who received billions in state contracts.  Former Republican Gov. Charlie Crist is now running as a Democrat. As Florida governor, he sold out our people and our environment to big-money special interests. He stood by and did nothing while robo-signing banks threw people into the street, the big investment banks ripped off half of our pension funds, and unemployment went up to 12%. Instead, he ran for the U.S. Senate. Now he wants his old job back and he has millions from special interests to help him get it.

This time there is a clear, clean alternative. I am an economist with a real plan to create real middle-class jobs without tax giveaways. I have a specific plan that benefits every Floridian without cost to the taxpayers.  We can end health-care corruption, improve the quality of health care, slash costs, and make it available to everyone while saving money for taxpayers.  We can end corruption in the insurance industry in Florida and save everyone 30% on homeowners insurance. We can bypass the corruption and simply restore the Everglades, clean up and preserve our clean waters, and make it pay, not cost, taxpayers.  Billions of dollars per year are at stake just in Florida. Should those billions go to the big-money special interests, or work for the people (and even save on taxes)? My plan is detailed in my website. Read it and you will see that we can do all of these things, and more.

Half of our voters are so disgusted they don't vote, and that suits Big Money just fine.  But not voting is not the same as voting "none of the above". It is only saying "whoever Big Money wants is fine with us" and then we pay for it. Scott and Crist were each elected governor by only 25% of eligible voters. We need to let people know there is another choice this time.

We can beat these guys, despite their $100 million+ campaign money, with the support of informed voters--and a small budget to get the message out. We can elect an independent governor who will veto legislation written and paid for by special interests, implement plans to serve all Floridians, and make government work for the people. We can set an example for the rest of America.

This cannot happen without your help.  We need money to organize a series of events statewide (Florida is a big state!) and to spread the message to all of the people of Florida. By raising as little as $500,000 we'll get attention from the mainstream media, which will help to spread the message further.

Please look once more at my website and the articles I have written. If you like what you see, please contribute (maximum $25- no big-money influence here), and pass the message along to your friends.  I am 100% committed to stand up for all Floridians, and stand up to big-money special interests.

It's a small investment for a big cause--to defeat Big Money and show Americans that we can free ourselves from corruption, starting now.  People Power can outvote Big Money!

Thank you for your help.
