For OpEdNews: W. Christopher Epler (Bill) - Writer

OK, straight out.  Barack Obama (he no longer deserves the title of President Elect) is a g.d. liar.

He hasn't only sold the farm; he's sold our insurance polices, the cars, our shoes and socks, our savings, retirements, computers, and the kid's college tuition . . . and oh yes, he's sold our dreams (dirt cheap!).

And the guy hasn't even been bloody inaugurated yet!  What's he going to do after that?  Start selling our organs?  Hey, you want a liver or spleen cheap.  Talk to Barack Obama.

But where there's a seller, there got to a buyer, so who are the buyers?  Well, now that's little difficult to enumerate, since apparently you have to stand in line or make an appointment.

OK, enough already with the talk, talk.  What's really going on here?  What's the "big picture"?

Well, it certainly isn't complicated, because with a little tweaking, it's basically our business as usual ONE PARTY dem/pug political system.

Here's the dynamic.

First, the DLC Clinton machine (you know, the one that pukes out right wing dems, e.g., the 2006 Congress of traitors), has raised sucking up to an art form.

And who do they suck up too?  Couldn't be easier.  FOR YEARS they have been sucking up the Israeli lunatic fringe right wing -- so well represented by the "neocon cabal" during the last eight years.  Eight years of having our foreign policy be a tail wagged by the neocons, who aren't even "back", since they never left.

What's particularly maddening about this arrangement, is that Israeli extremist right wingers DO NOT represent the State of Israel, whose Labor Party, for example, is incomparably more liberal that the DLC Clinton machine (i.e., what's left of the Democratic Party).  Also, they aren't supported in Israeli polls.  ALSO, there are now sites galore on the net which give voice to Israeli moderate and liberal points of view.

The heart of this utter nonsense is just as extremist right wingers in America DO NOT speak for America, neither to extremist right wingers in Israel speak of the complex State of Israel.  Nevertheless, these are the people the Clinton machine keeps licking the boots of.

In short, don't hold your breath that American policy in the Middle East will change AT ALL.  All those explicit and implicit promises of "diplomacy" were just bait to get American moderates and liberals (of both parties) to choose Obama over McCain, which is now nauseatingly ironic since OBAMA has turned out to be the one who is chaining us to a dead and rotting past at least as much as McCain would have done.

So who else is buying Obama?  Well, his announcement that it will probably be SEVERAL YEARS before the elites are appropriately taxed, is proof positive (since this was really the capstone of his national promises), that the elites are also at the buying end of a selling transaction.  And please notice that all of Obama's talk about "dealing with" our dying economy is TOTALLY canceled out by letting the elites have a free ride for several more years.  Many economists are already gravely warning that such a free ride is literally suicidal to the American economy since it means trillions of life and death dollars will keep disappearing into the permanent Christmas for multi millionaires and multi billionaires.

So, to recap the dynamics:  The DLC Clinton machine sucks up to the elites and the Israeli extremist right wingers.  In short, wall to wall right wingers, since Bill Clinton worked just as hard as George Bush to redefine the VERY right wing dems of eight years ago, into mild mannered "centrists" of 2008.

And Obama?  The man who the money, passion, and infrastructure of PROGRESSIVES got into the primaries and then elected President of the United States hasn't make ONE appointment that is even light years close to being progressive or liberal.  Indeed, most of his appointees get off on trashing progressives every chance they get.
