Lawsuits are the solution

Lawsuits will stop any corrupt activity if there is enough publicity for the suit and if the powers behind the suit are big enough.

The first step is to become our own citizen journalists. Just as you have done here, Linn: Bravo and thankyou for this!

Once we as citizen journalists succeed in getting the matters on hte public radar---and to do so will take a joint effort, but we can do it if we all participate----then the next thing to do is to take polls.

Based on those polls, start the lawsuits rolling.

Anything written should contain a statement that reprinting permission is granted, urging readers to post to the Internet, dialing in to talk shows, etc. This strategy would help to spread word like wildfire, with fewer citizen journalists required to spread word. Because in my experience, every time I have asked readers to spread an article around the web, I have been amazed at how fast it happens and how wide-spread the publicity at least can be. And often/usually is.

The networking and transparency afforded by the Internet has the power to stop this. Especially if well-researched, scientific arguments are journaled about health effects of GMOs et al, with tips to empower the people (ie, lawsuits as only one idea) then there will be proactivity. The key to fostering proactivity is to inspire with hope. The masses are governed by depression. So to empower is key. ONce empowered, people will act.

Please spread word.

Maybe it's time for us all to fight back by boycotting GMOs, growing our own food, and sending a message to Montsanto right where it counts most: The pocketbook. Not only lawsuits, but boycotts would be key in this regard.

A few extremely knowledgeable resources:

Christopher Hobbs is a consultant to the health industry world-wide. He draws molecular chains about any given herb you mention, without blinking or looking up a thing. Ask him about herbal studies and he will not only tell you about those clinical tests, trials, studies et al, but specifically about the medical vulnerabilities of patients participating in those studies and how that influence the outcome of the study.

Phytotherapy is the modern study of herbalism from a sophisticated, scientific point of view. Clincal tests and double blind studies are being conducted and recorded. Drug-herb interactions are being logged. Chemical constituents have been isolated and studied, compared to mainstream medicaiton in their effectiveness, etc.

The leading figures in the world of phytotherapy include (but are not limited to) Christopher Hobbs and David Hoffmann.

Of all the top herbalists out there, Hoffmann and Hobbs are by far the most detailed in their knowledge. To consult them would be key where GMOs and the environmental/health impacts would be concerned.

The American Herbalists Guild would also have facts and data about GMOs, from a scientific point of view and not based on old wives tales.

An aside: Fascinating indeed is that based on chemistry, clinical double blind tests, etc many of the "old wives tales" are being scientifically proven to be true. A few are being disproven too, but  most are supported by scientific research. Interesting, eh?

Don't worry. This battle has gone on for decades and has failed.

Examples: FDA campaigned for laws requiring a doctor's prescription for vitamin supplements. (There may be a certain amount of caution necessitated, by the way: Contrary to popular belief, large doses of supplements can and do have side-effects. These side effects also are much fewer than with mainstream medications. Where twelve deaths occured in one year due to herbal supplementation, more than 1,000 hospital deaths were reported due to Ibuprofin alone).

Another example: The FDA claimed that sugar did not cause diabetes and the only health concern caused by sugar is tooth decay. Well it's true; Sugar does not CAUSE diabetes but it sure as heck sets it off, and it sure as heck is the catalyst. Be not misled.

Then there were successful attempts to ban tryptophan from the market, based on the contamination of ONE batch with salmonella. That became the excuse to permanently ban tryptophan, sum total.

5 HTP became the replacement item, since it is the precursor to L-Tryptophan manufacturing in the body.

AND DESPITE ALL THESE AND MANY MORE EFFORTS, THE FDA's AND AMA's CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE HEALTH INDUSTRY HAVE FAILED.

Echinacea (not without its side effects) lines the shelves of Long's and Safeway. The organic food industry is booming, to the point that Safeway and more large grocers have started their own organic growing business. Because popularity means business. And of course, the companies are very interested in that.

Montsanto is a small player compared to the FDA. If the FDA's attempts to close down the health industry have failed, so will Montsanto's. Money talks.

As a certified herbalist, let me tell you about echinacea:

It increases phagocytosis, in which immune cells literally gobble up invading pathogens. Because of this, it also has benefit in cleansing the lymphatic system. It is generally used in coughs, flu and colds. It is, however, best used just prior to the onset of symptoms, according to Christopher Hobbs. Further, studies have indicated that where echinacea boosts immune cell activity  in the short run, after a ten-day period that same immune activity drops on the graph. Echinacea is an immune system stimulant, not a tonic (which strengthens a body system over the long-term). Thus, as a stimulant, it has excellent results in the short-term but over the long-term, tires out the body system by over-stimulation. Thus, the drop in immune cell production is the offshoot of such stimulation.

There are many more herbs which have tonic activity for the immune system. Schizandra, Siberean ginseng (not other ginsengs, which may over-stimulate some body systems), ligustrum, osha and other herbs may be not only safely taken for the long term, but will in fact slowly and gradually nourish immune activity.

Schizandra, turkey tail mushroom, and reishi mushroom especially, nourish the adrenal glands. In so doing, they help the body to combat stress, play a secondary role in balancing blood sugar (not as central as supporting the pancreas, but definitely role-players), enhance immunity, and assist the body's own healing abilities as cortisone and other healing hormones are secreted due to nutritional support of the adrenal glands.

I too cannot see how the criminals at Monsanto and at the

American FDA can win. The Australian government are gutless imitators of what is done, and often already discarded, overseas, but down-to-earth Australians, with their lack of bullsh*t and their great interest in their physical life and what is good for it are ignoring and finding ways around Australia's imitation FDA, and hence here in Australia the certified organic and locally-grown industry etc. is booming.

Speaking of old wives' tales, I have been taking up to 10 apricot kernels a day for a few months now, and am explaining to all who want to hear exactly how it kills cancer cells. I became convinced of this through the work of one of those intrepid people, of which there are many on this forum also, who will speak the truth, regardless of the possible consequences to them themselves, Ed Griffin (I met him at a 9/11 conference here in Sydney a few months ago). You're in good company, Linn and Kathryn.

GMO's ARE "NOT" SAFE

Dear Reader,

On July 4, 2008 I listened to Louise Schiavone on Lou Dobss in which she spoke of the Salmonella outbreaks throughout the United States coming from Mexico, although she said they haven’t identified the source. She also said she had spoken to a woman who had Salmonella and “never ate a tomato”. 

Within the following you will understand my suspicion as to just where the SALMONELLA (and possible prior E-COLI outbreaks) may be coming from , Tlaxcala, Mexico (if not within the United States itself) in the form of a bio-pesticide, bio-insecticide or bio-fungicide etc. (fungus or bacteria). These are thought of as being "natural" agents used against plant diseases and insects. However, one only needs to read the patents to realize they are not 100% "natural".  All that is "required" to be on the label of these product labels is the ACTIVE ingredient and most of them show a VERY LOW percentage of the active ingredient.  We are not afforded the "right to know" what the inert or inactive ingredient is.  Not only are these products being sold in retail stores but are being used by both hand and arial spraying.

In the case of the company where my son used to work and Tlaxcala, Mexico; this company has a fermentation/manufacturing plant of bio-pesticides, bio-insecticides or biofungicides etc. (fungus or bacteria) that are products tested, sold and “used” on our crops and insects in the United States as well as around the world. 

When a bio-pesticide, bio-insecticide or biofungicide etc. is going through review by the EPA for registration, or re-registration the EPA either denies the submission or accepts it. 

In 1999 the company my son worked for (in the State of California) had requested a registration from the EPA (which had been previously registered by the EPA) for a “new active ingredient”. Full registration was denied and instead the company only received a  "Conditional Time-Limited " Registration as the EPA themselves found fault with; Storage stability, Manufacturing process and it was questioned why fish, shrimp and honey bees died. 

The  "Conditional Time-Limited " Registration” issued on June 20, 2000 to the company by the EPA - OFFICE OF PESTICIDE PROGRAMS -PESTICIDES AND POLLUTION PREVENTION DIVISION, FORM 8570?6 states:

"After fermentation and prior to further process, each batch must be tested for the following microbial contaminates and have levels below those listed." 

"E. COLI/COLIFORM BACTERIA "  

"SALMONELLA "  

"SHIGELLA "  

"STAPHYLOCOCCI "  

"VIBRIO "  

"YEAST "  

"MOLD " 

The above was addressed in my June of 2007 letter to Congressman Waxman. I don't believe ANY LEVEL of the above bacteria or fungus should be deemed "acceptable" to be in ANY batches that are to be used on our food supply, animal feed, ornamentals or for the use of insect control.  I know that the letter was received as it was signed for, however I did not receive a response from anyone at Congressman Waxman's office.  I have also addressed Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey and Congressman Dan Lungren in letters and in person (as have others) concerning the safety to human health and the environment as well as the question of homeland security. 

It is extremely concerning why the company, who one would believe would be very careful in sending the EPA an UNCONTAMINATED submission for approval for registration (which it appears was contaminated), would not be questioned with respect to contamination in their products or product candidates that are being tested and sold to be used on our crops and used for insect control. 

My son also became sick in 1999 while working for this company, prior to the above 1999 submissions to the EPA) and despite 4 surgeries (the first in 1999 and the last in 2006), the loss of an intact immune system and over $333,000 worth of medical bills (as of 2005) he has never regained his health as it was before he began employment with the company.  

"WHY" should anyone, with the advanced technology this century has, have to be afraid to be employed, eat agricultural crops, drink water and breath the air in the United States of America?  There is “so much more”.

I have a Diploma in investigative services .

 If I can be of assistance or if I can be include in you research I would love that as well .I always new there was more to this and the workers must have been made sik as well .It would be  really good to find out if the workers at abbots laboratories got sick as well because they supposedly mixed the baches  of foray for valent  who supplied MAF ,nufarm and grosafe in new Zealand and another spray named  Bactur was  used.

 Also the video clip on the website for kaiserpapers is very hard to download can you fix this I really what to spread this information far and wide if it could be put on you tube that would be good, and link on Google earth .Also I was wondering there is another patent of particular interest it’s on CIPO patent 2167178 it for the  BT crystals it was originally belonged to Novo Nordisk entotech and biotech   the diagrams show the s aureus blasted into the crystals and also a GMO ecoli with  Brucella  abortus  The agent of brucellosis which was apparently weaponized back in the 40s   Sorry about spelling I am also dyslexic please can you  pass this on to Davids bell’s mother

Pam Marrone ran this company, Novo Nordisk Entotech, when they did this research. How do I know she was not using GMO stuff like this at Agraquest? The safety was bad enough with wild type organisms in the lab. They never had proper biosafety levels required for GMO. That would require a BioSafety Level 4. This is a crime against the workers of Agraquest, the citizens of Davis and against nature! I am truely appauled. Anyway to cut a long story short I started investigating pesticides as a possible source of staph and found GE references on strapping the genes to the DNA strand. Since meeting Donna we have discovered heaps of it and we have come to the conclusion that there is a definite possibility that chemtrails are also connected with experiments of genetic nature on the unsuspecting public as well possibly involving mycoplasmas. Being a profound believer that we humans are symbiotic and balance can be brought about by natural means and mind and feelings in the "right" place you may be interested to know that dispite enormous amounts of flucloxacillin the most marked improvements Oliver made were when he was on oxygen. he was not getting better when they decided to cease it. I noted that every time his oxygen level fell to 94% he would become feverish and his breathing was laboured and it would continue to fall. I convinced the doctor that he should have more, I personally  monitored his oxygen level hourly and ceased each session when it returned to 98% continuing each session as it fell close to 94% until it stabalized. I am more interested in finding methods of cure for all this crap than exacting revenge on the idiots that are doing it, I am of a mind that the less I have to do with them the better, however I am thinking along the lines of setting each of them against the other.
