Paddy Chayefsky, in one of the most profound dramatic soliloquies ever, wrote that television was "the most awesome God-damned force in the whole godless world". And from the time he wrote those words until just very recently TV was indeed the 800 pound gorilla of the communications media. The movie was called "Network". But now there is a network in place and fully realized that dwarfs the power of anything that came before, the power to turn the world literally upside down at our literal fingertips, if only we will use them.
What most people do not realize is that as of this moment the MOST visited web site on the planet is Facebook, bigger even than Google. That is where the people are, that is where the people are going (independent of anything we do), and THAT is why we MUST mobilize there politically.

Then click on "Share This Page" in the menu there and USE the friend selector on that page to sent an invitation to all of your friends on Facebook to get one of the "Corporations Are NOT The People" bumper stickers, with no donation required.
This is CRITICAL, for this is how we draw more and more people to check out the new Independent Voters page. We need everybody on board for this. And when you go there, be sure to become a fan yourself of the page.

Yes, yes, we know there are some of you who are determined NEVER to do Facebook, and that's OK. Just please stay tuned. We are working on other paths where you can connect with this initiative. We are still giving away these same bumper stickers at the regular web page, and will continue to do so.

But we have long said that we could change the world with Facebook alone. And now that they have 300 million participants of their own that time is NOW!! In short, Facebook will change the world. Facebook has ALREADY changed the world. And we better darn well exploit it ourselves to its maximum potential if we want to be the ones directing that change.
The most exciting thing we are doing is creating our own incredibly powerful mobilizing tools for the Facebook interface which are head and shoulders above what anybody else is doing there, of which the Stickers application, with all its multi-level sharing features, is just one example.
