The Lying Thomases

Lied-- his swearing in as a SCOTUS justice.

Virginia Thomas phoned Anita Hill, leaving her a voice mail message asking for an apology to her husband, supreme court justice, Clarence Thomas.

She said it was an offering of an olive branch.

Anita Hill replied, "I have not intention of apologizing."

I titled this article, "The Lying Thomases" because now, we have two Thomases who lie.

Clarence Thomas lied when he denied the accusations of Anita Hill.

Ginny Thomas lied when she said she was offering an Olive branch. The strange thing is it is such an obvious lie. You have to wonder if Ginny is having "issues."

Surely, we have to conclude as Eugene Robinson asks, "Has this been eating at Ginny Thomas for 19 years?"

It seems reasonable to assume that Ginny Thomas is living with a man who claims he's innocent, that he didn't do "it." But that doesn't give her the right to harrass her husband's victim. it doesn't make it "extending an olive branch" when she puts out a lie and what amounts to an accusation of lying, when she asks Hill to apologize. An apology is only owed if Hill lied. Suggesting one is owed means Ginny Thomas is calling Hill a liar.

Let's look at this couple. Justice Thomas is one of the SCOTUS traitors who passed Citizens United, which allows foreign money to pour into US elections. He's sided against humans favoring corporations, taking the furthest right positions on just about every decision he participates in.

Ginny Thomas is a teabagger leader who has big money from undisclosed sources backing her organization-- maybe they're from outside the US too. Wikipedia reports, " Virginia Thomas took training with the controversial self awareness program Lifespring while a congressional aide" This was a cult and she admitted it engaged in mind control. It's more than a bit frightening that such a person lives with and influences the most conservative member of the USA's most powerful court-- who helped make George Bush President, who unleashed unlimited funds from outside the US into elections.

It's not comforting. It's disgusting to get a glimpse of the ugliness of this despicable couple crawling out into the light of day.

It is shameful that the wife of employee abuser, Justice Thomas (what an abomination of the term Justice) should attempt to bully or harrass her husbands innocent victim.

But clearly, the Thomases have no shame. They are a pathetic joke, but sadly, unlike a joke, they have the power, more like a pestilence, to do great damage to the US and the world.
