The time had come for Hirsi Ali to stop pretending Lewis was mature enough to conduct a rational conversation, and to put him in his place:

"I've lived in countries that had no democracy that had no Founding Fathers […] so I don't find myself in the same luxury as you. You grew up in freedom, and you can spit on freedom, because you don't know what it is not to have freedom."

That about sums up the mentality of the liberal media.

A "new anti-Semitism" that emanates from an alliance of Western leftists and Islamic extremists is more dangerous than the "old European" form of Jew-hatred, Canada's minister of citizenship, immigration and multiculturalism said as he wound up a four-day trip to Israel Sunday.

"The existential threat faced by Israel on a daily basis is ultimately a threat to the broader Western civilization," said Jason Kenney, explaining the staunchly pro-Israel positions of his government, led by Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Ironically, the western leftists who profess solidarity with jihadist aims also claim somewhat incongruously a loyalty to President Obama, liberty and justice. Such quaint western customs are difficult to find in the Arab World. The student who has traveled to Europe must make a choice. He can retain his freedoms in exile or he can lose them on his return to his native land. Abroad or at home, he remains the outsider a dangerous designation.

"Leftist Jihadism is a threat that comes from profoundly undemocratic forces that don't have the same conception of human dignity or freedom, and which abuse Israel as a kind of representative of the broader West and Western liberal-democratic values," said Kenney. "I also very acutely understand the nature of the new anti-Semitism, and I think it's even more dangerous than the old European anti-Semitism."

Kenney said many anti-Israel attacks come from adherents of a form of anti-Semitism that appears to view a Jewish homeland as illegitimate. Adherents twist historical to portray the freedom-loving Palestinian people as suffering for centuries from a Jewish crusade. They call this travail a Holocaust.

The Arab Smear Machine never mentions the men, women and children who reside in Israel. The hate mongers deal in abstractions such as Zion**ts, settlers, Likudnics and right wingers. They mock our self-defense force as the IOF, as if Israel started seven wars. They whine about our "aggressive" behavior, while they are the ones who threaten us. According to them, Israel's big fault is that she wins wars. If they ever won a war, how long would it take them to execute a Holocaust II? Would the armchair intellectuals embed a medal in the sidewalk for my family?

If Israel had existed before WWII, how many Jews could have sheltered here to escape certain death? The present western democracies are surrendering to Muslim influence the US torture apparatus for example. Pentagon policy is to indoctrinate troops with a religious fanaticism rarely seen since the Crusades.

Why do They Lump Israelis with Americans?

The experiences are not comparable. Until 1967 the Arabs had good chances to destroy Israel. The 1973 War was not a picnic, but led to the 1978 peace. Since then it has been terrorism, 8000 missiles fired on Israel and two sharp engagements initiated by Arabs.
