It was understood that there would be sacrifice in blood and treasure
The experts said so logically
Their pseudo truths which we believed
Came rolling down forked tongues, but yet,
Expecting their best, we received naught but lies
I
The Kingdom of Lies
Goes on devouring the marrow of our young
It goes forever gorging
And extinguishing their song
We watch them hide our children's bodies in
Black plastic bags as they come back home
While we with platitudes to power
Never utter anguished truths that scream
But speak tired, feel good prayers
We don't really mean while
We sit quietly pretending
We're not brainless drones but
Victims of pundit talking clones.

To drink the lie and not be sickened
To be betrayed and not fight back
That is the question of our times
To be ruled by dimwits all
With a perverted spiritual call
Who think that what is in this world is only theirs and
Quick as light become our worst nightmares and
Swiftly as they turn the page
Their greed becomes the rage.

So rejoice!
We're in the greatest Kingdom of them all
Be proud and strong to conquer all
And never fear to fall for
You fight for flag and country
Not to mention family
And know your red blood's spilled
For Freedom, Liberty!

They rule the Kingdom
Can't we see
It is their destiny
We'll all be free
We'll be fulfilled
On that shining house up on the hill
Just don't you ask
And don't you tell
Of the horrors and the deaths that fell
This mighty Kingdom in distress
So don't confess
Be silent still
You the gullible of the false!
You the gullible of words of those who never sacrifice but only profit!
You the flag waving naive
Who believe giving children to madness makes them heroes!
You the fools who believe in the goodness of your Lying King
Wake up! Wake up!
Your country is dying and your children are hungry!
