The Good and the Bad and the Truly Ugly

Tell A Friend

In a couple of days the Olympic Games begin. The modern Olympics can truly be called one of the best things that we humans do in terms of our international relations. The Games represent peaceful completion with nations sending the best of their young people ~ a "good" event and happening.

These Olympics come at a time of growing economic crisis with a possible global economic depression looming. These bad economic times could get really bad if the $1.2 quadrillion in derivatives go into melt down along with collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) and various new structured investments vehicles (SIVs). The resulting global depression is apt to be even worse than the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Worse yet, is the demands of the neo-cons in America, and some European nations, along with the Israeli war hawks, for a war on Iran. A war that could get truly ugly in the extreme. Iran, having hired some of the best and brightest of the former Soviet Union's advanced biowar scientists 15 years ago, is a nation that already possess advanced biological warfare (ABW) with the ability to cause deaths in North America, Europe, and the Middle East on a level of global strategic thermonuclear war. The limited Iranian uranium enrichment program, legal under international law and even in the words of the American intelligence establishment not constituting a nuclear weapons program, is being used as the cover for the next stage of the aggressive neo-con grand strategy.

We are truly in a most interesting period. If sanity rules the day, we will avoid a war with Iran and the likely resulting Third World War. If not, then we are in for a truly horrific next few months.

What we do know for certain is that past recessions and depressions are man created, usually by the very persons/groups that intend to profit from the economic hardship of the many.

A coming "Greatest" Depression would amount to the greatest transfer of wealth in human history, with a small evil elite taking our property and possessions from the rest of us. We also know that it is simply too late in human history for engaging in global war with nations having global strategic weapons of mass destruction ~ that any such war is apt to cause such great world wide destruction as to effectively destroy human civilization.

The elected political leadership in America and much of the western world is so corrupt, so "bought and paid for" by globalist special interest groups, that they are not addressing the grave dangers of either the coming economic super depression or a global war. Somehow, the public had better get its act together and force the powers that be to change directions. If not, the old Chinese curse of "may you live in interesting times" could come true in a most horrific way.

good article, if not good news

Comment from Ratings:   Do you think the state of mind we are up against is due to the media or to complacency, or what? jf

A taste of things to come?

I believe that if we don't stop these fascists and terrorists we will lose big time. A conspiracy going back to 1934 as much as to 1860 and even back to the founding of this nation and its views on slavery, capitalism and a type of Calvanist-Nordic Christianity melded with corporatism. Ugly and dedicated to obtaining their will to dominate everything. Hence their adherence to Dominionism and paralleled in their view of Total Global Dominance. Both horizontally and vertically of all the earth's inhabitance preparing the earth for the Second Coming. No rapture but the setting up of the conditions for the Lord of Hosts to return to an earth fully Christianized for him. A very dangerous ideology that is well funded and functions the best in a top down control mechanism in the military, church and corporate models work well with them, their ethos of control. Psychopaths normally gravitate to areas where power is controlled by a few and they will be ruthless to get it.

multiple reasons

Thanks Jay. Actually I think that there are multiple reasons for our state of mind. Such as the main stream media, the trash culture they promote, complacency, the dumbing down of the education levels of the masses, and poor religious leadership. If the people don't stand up and demand that there be no war on Iran we will pay a horrible price.

Christian....I don't think so

Thanks Nightgaunt. Actually I don't think that the neo-cons have anything to do with real Christianity. Some of them use the words, or should I say misuse words from Christianity, but in no way does their pro-war/more-war/war-war-war mindset reflect what was taught by Jesus Christ. I would say that the neo-con agenda is not only a crazy grand strategy but one right out of hell.

Reply: You got that right

The Reaganites and Bushites (Neo-Conservatives) love to say "God bless America" and Bush claims to be "doing the will of God."

But the definition of those who serve the spirit of the Antichrist are those who claim to serve God, when they actually serve "Mammon" (seeking and fighting for personal power, wealth and domain). And they live luxuriously and even palatially while many of their tax-paying citizens live in poverty and many are even hungry and homeless.

It's just as the greatest prophets foresaw would happen.

But, there is good reason for hope, and faith. Just read this:

I enjoyed your article, and

desire that before the Olympic opening ceremony begins that there be a moment of silence to remember all those who have died by natural disasters and the innocent killed by war.

Even though I don't share your views of religion, I believe that the fundamentalists  "Christian" leadership of Robertson, Hagee, Parsley, Dobson and others are not using the Bible, the 10 Commandants, or the teachings of Jesus as their guide. On the contrary, their hands are covered in blood with pockets full of money of the type of person that Jesus threw out of the temple in Jerusalem.

I keep my fingers crossed that Congress will see the light of day and not only begin impeachment proceedings, but Treason charges against all former and current Bu$h & Co. administration officials, before turning them over to the Hague for War Crimes. Least they have the chance to open another front on the War Of Terror they wage both domestically and abroad.

Thanks for your nice comments.

Thanks for your nice comments Jessica and Stanimal. The latest news is that a massive US Naval armada is heading towards Iran. I have a new story on this on my blog EUROPE.

Behind the veil

It seems Russia has opened up supply lines for Iran between the Caspian and black Sea while controlling and cutting off a crucial oil pipe-line to the west. No dought N.A.T.O is sending an Naval Armada and much more to apply force. All this for plastic bags filled with plastic trash from plastic retail items paid for on plastic cards. Gasoline is a by-product of refining hydro-carbons to produce pollymers from which we get plastic. Picture this; A big sprawling parking lot, with parked cars, incircling your typical shopping mall complex. Modern day Temples to monopolistic corporate Golems. Our consumption of plastics creates the shareholder profit which feeds these  Corporate Golems, thus establishing the insentive for war over resource rich terra around the globe. If not oil then lumber or agro. the problem is that there is no off button to push, the Golems just keep feeding, as they grow so does their hunger for profit, their main food source. And if we the feeders don't stop them, they will (we will ), destroy the planet.
