The Brides of March
I was so happy
not to see snow,
only shades of grey
and beiges soon to be greens
and then...
But how can I begrudge
fat, fluffy flakes falling
in thousands of gauzy white tutus
dancing Winter's Swan Lake
even if their ballet
makes its debut driven
as if sprayed
from a Gatling gun?
