The Anti-Death Squad; the Right to Live

Throughout the ages the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have reigned supreme. The chances are the curses of war, pestilence, famine and disease have visited your doorstep. If you were lucky enough to be at work at the time, perhaps they claimed your spouse. In the final analysis they kill all of us, but this is not an excuse to make their mission easier for them.

They have powerful accessories. The last thirteen US Presidents have lied their a$$es off for them. They have mocked the taxpayers as so many cash cows. They have milked us to the last drop. Alone among my friends, I have not paid personal income taxes since 1978. This makes me a member of the Anti-Death Squad some folks thinking of me as a minor league hero. Major league heroes include movie star Wesley Snipes, who had much more to lose than I did.

Bankers Be Afraid, Be Very, Very Afraid

Anne Minch has initiated her Debtor's Revolt. Her web site earned 500,000 hits and guest appearances on national television including Fox and Friends.

Obvious from the video, she has made an impact without a proper camera or scenic backdrop. As soon as I repair my teeth, I plan to spring the Anti-Death Squad message on Fox and Friends.

Daniel Ellsberg Personifies the Anti-War Stance of the Anti-Death Squad

In the movie "Casino" the gangsters gave their highest accolade to a cohort. "He is a Marine." Daniel Ellsberg served his country in combat in Vietnam. Later, he was one of the three Presidential advisors who read the 1000 pages of the Pentagon Papers.

"The Most Dangerous Man in America" premiered in the UK last Sunday at the Frontline Club in London.

By 1971 the lies of three Administrations had mired the US into the hopelessly unwinnable war in Vietnam. Common knowledge today, it was shocking and revolutionary news back then. Whistle blowers had hanged for less.

Dr. Daniel Ellsberg summarized 7000 pages of Top Secret documents and leaked the story to the New York Times. He was risking life in prison to deliver an unwanted message to America. Nevertheless, the story captured world attention with daily headlines and nightly news reports for weeks on end. The genie was out of the bottle.

The film explores his motivations. What prompts a Cold Warrior at the top of his profession to throw away his career and his friends in high places on the chance that his expose would shorten the dirty little war? It begins as a problem to be solved that becomes a hopeless stalemate and finally degenerates into a crime to be stopped at any cost.

"Ellsberg's leak of the top-secret Pentagon Papers to The New York Times sets into motion an extraordinary series of events. The Nixon Administration first goes after the nation's press, resulting in a First Amendment battle that, within two weeks, ends up in the Supreme Court. Ellsberg goes underground to avoid a nationwide FBI manhunt. When he emerges, he is hailed as a hero, accused of being a traitor, ostracized by friends, and finds himself on trial for his life." Rep. Alan Grayson [D-FL] Asks His Colleagues to React with Respect for Life

Here, Alan attempts to rally the Congress against the forces of pestilence and disease.

Born a month before Pearl Harbor, I attended world events from an early age. My first words included Mussolini, Patton, Sahara and Patton. At age three I was a regular listener to Lowell Thomas. My mom was an industrial nurse a member of the (more...)
