This afternoon pundits on MSNBC, along with certain politicians, have been hungrily picking the meat off the Tucson, AZ tragedy for all its worth, trying to associate Jared Loughner with Tea Party activists, though most of his Internet postings were more nonsensical ramblings than political manifestos.  Law enforcement officials have been brought on to give their take on the situation and are being politely coaxed by hosts to call for further federalization of local police forces, even when they say there was little that police could have done to stop the shooting from happening. I personally haven't seen any mention yet of the man who took over the Discovery Channel building last year with a gun calling for extreme measures to combat global warming in the media's scare-mongering of so-called dangerous political rhetoric. Nor have I seen mention of the British commercial showing children blown to bits for refusing to participate in a pro man-made global warming event. Â
Instead we're faced with the post 9/11 style propaganda assault on our senses, with the media questioning not only if we're "too free" but also if the political tone is "too loud". Essentially the flickering box is telling America to shut-up"that if you speak up and protest more people will die...indirect terrorist threats made by people in suits and ties.
Americans using their free speech didn't shoot Gabrielle Giffords anymore than did J.D. Salinger shoot John Lennon for writing The Catcher in the Rye. The notion that a deranged person -- picking out keywords from sound-bytes he heard like "gold currency" and including them in a rant before doing some random crazy act-- has anything to do with the millions of people assertively  but peacefully protesting their government is itself  insane. The media and fake left politicians are trying to assume the roles of brave heroes by righteously stating that they won't be intimidated, when in fact it is them who are trying to intimidate us.Â
Calling for Americans to quiet their voices and join hands with the puppets voting away their freedoms and using them as personal cash batteries is like making a deal with the devil because he tells you that a few people might someday die in your name, while in the meantime millions die in his.Â
The wars overseas have not ended. The U.S. tortures people. Congress members refuse a new 9/11 investigation despite scientific evidence that fire didn't bring down the towers. The Federal Reserve is destroying the value of your money to pay for their wars (yes their wars, not yours) and also gives it to their Wall Street friends, threatening you with economic Armageddon if you don't agree.      Â
The fact is that we call them criminals because they are criminals. We call Obama a liar because he is a liar.  Nothing changed Saturday afternoon except that a group of opportunists decided to use an isolated tragedy as a vice to tighten their grip on the minds of Americans who are waking up. If we let them do that, their words will prove true-- we will have let the actions of Jared Loughner threaten the stability of our Republic...by limiting our free speech, not theirs.
