Just when you thought you’ve heard it all...

A senior government official with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has expressed great interest in a so-called safety bracelet that would serve as a stun device, similar to that of a police Taser®. According to this promotional video found at the Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. website, the bracelet would be worn by all airline passengers (video also shown below).

This bracelet would:

• Take the place of an airline boarding pass

• Contain personal information about the traveler

• Be able to monitor the whereabouts of each passenger and his/her luggage

• Shock the wearer on command, completely immobilizing him/her for several minutes

The Electronic ID Bracelet, as it’s referred to, would be worn by every traveler “until they disembark the flight at their destination.” Yes, you read that correctly. Every airline passenger would be tracked by a government-funded GPS, containing personal, private and confidential information, and would shock the customer worse than an electronic dog collar if the passenger got out of line.

I am neither Republican nor Democrat. I consider myself above all to be an American, above political parties in thinking and in my desire to see this country return to its former greatness. I therefore look at all issues with a critical eye, toss out the political propaganda and make up my own mind. I am opinionated and set in my ways, it takes some powerful convincing to change my mind once its set.

And people wonder why I don't fly. I haven't been on an airplane in twenty years and it'll be another twenty years before I do, maybe longer. I can understand the airline security, even if it is overblown, but to treat passengers as if they were terrorists goes beyond reason and sensibility. Is it little wonder that airlines are losing money? Not to me.

I think it's a great idea for Americans only of course. They make up the largest terrorist country in the world and I think they should be braceleted. Maybe then the rest of the world will be able to rest easy when they travel.

Shucks, why would we manage terror only on airliners. We should be required to wear them 24/7 so our masters can keep us in check. Anytime our authoritarian state thinks we might be thinking naughty thought, a little jolt will keep us in proper frame of mind. Vote McBush for 09!

It's already been proven that the only terror we have is of the man who rules us in America. 9/11 is a lie! There is no terrorist. The thought of this is only to instill fear in all Americans so that we will hand over our rights to the man. In order so that they will have control of us when the new world order comes into play.

As high tech as we are you would have thought that 9/11 could have been stopped. I don't understand why people can't see where this is going to. Once this is inforced I believe that the man will use this to target any whisleblower as terrorist. Or any person they see fit, that doesn't go along with the plan that they have instore for us in the future.

Wake up America! Don't become one of the sheep!
