For OpEdNews: Allen L Roland - Writer http://my.barackobama.com/berlinvideo Watch this 25 minute video of Barack Obama addressing over 200,000 people in Berlin and watch the emergence of a world leader who will not only help bring a fragmented planet together but will set the stage for a planetary shift in consciousness within the next four years. "The walls between the countries with the most and those with the least cannot stand," said Obama, in an address beamed live on US and German television channels and to viewers all around the world. "The walls between races and tribes; natives and immigrants; Christian and Muslim and Jew cannot stand. These now are the walls we must tear down," Obama said, drawing loud cheers and applause.

In a city where a wall once divided the free from the oppressed, he talked about tearing down the walls that divide all peoples so we can address our common problems ~ the threats of terrorism and nuclear weapons, global warming and genocide, AIDS and poverty.
This is truly Barack Obama's moment and it reminds me of that classic song This is the Moment written by Frank Wildhorn and sung here by myself. Here are some of it's appropriate lyrics ~
This is the moment,
This is the time,
When the momentum and the moment
Are in rhyme!
The momentum and the moment are in rhyme now for Obama and it was never so apparent as in Berlin yesterday before over 200,000 cheering people and a world wide television audience.
Don't think McCain and Bush did not notice this Obama moment ~ as Bush tried his hardest to downgrade its significance in Berlin ~ Bush Bans State Department Officials From Obama Rally By Jacob Heilbrunn 24 Jul 2008
" In a flagrant political act, the State Department has barred its employees from attending Sen. Barack Obama's speech in Berlin tonight... Indeed, the administration has a long and tawdry record of trying to browbeat government agencies into submission, whether it's the CIA or the Centers for Disease Control."
McCain, of course, continues to look old, tired and overmatched with Obama ~ “Well, I’d love to give a speech in Germany, a political speech, or a speech that maybe the German people would be interested in, but I’d much prefer to do it as president of the United States rather than as a candidate for the office of presidency,” Mr. McCain griped to a few reporters outside Schmidt’s Restaurant und Sausage Haus,in Columbus, Ohio, shortly before Mr. Obama began speaking at the Victory Column in the heart of Berlin before 200,000 loudly cheering Germans..
“McCain is having a disastrous week,” said Ed Rollins, a Republican strategist who led Mike Huckabee’s presidential campaign this year. “It would have been better if he had just kept a low profile and stayed out of the limelight. He got dragged into making a lot of stupid comments about Obama, and there’s been this tremendous contrast with the visuals, which is what a lot of people pay attention to.” http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/25/us/politics/25mccain.html?
It's no use ~ the Obama moment is not only America's moment but it's the world's moment and it will not be denied by the ego and fears of small minded people such as George W Bush and his apologist and heir apparent, John McCain.
