OpEdNews - Article: Swine Flu - Connecting the Dots

I was 18 years old in 1976. I didn't pay much attention to the scares broadcast over the radio and television about the 'Swine Flu' but I do remember them. I was still living in New Jersey at the time and I remember the panic that was felt in the community. We were only about an hour away from Fort Dix where a young soldier of 19 died from this strange new flu. It was found later that many soldiers had been indeed exposed to this influenza, yet they were not ill. The military and the CDC were busily looking for a magic bullet to innoculate the populace with, starting of course with the men in Fort Dix. The magic bullet however became the death ray. The people innoculated with the Swine Flu vaccine became sick even if they hadn't been before. Not only had they become vaccine injured, some never recovered from the after effects and died.

It is now 2009 and the same fear that gripped New Jersey soldiers in'76 is at our doorstep again. The problem we face at this time is much more threatening than back when that young recruit was the first victim of an imagined epidemic. In the past administration, George W. Bush opened the flood gates to warrantless searches and wiretapping. He also signed executive orders which allowed martial law to be enforced with the word of the president and without the vote of the Congress. In other words, the climate is ripe for a dictatorship in the U.S.of A if and when a disaster, natural or man-made permits.

The fact is we have been sitting long and idle for a very long time as forces have been rallied to keep the Citizens calm and composed when this should occur, and let's not dumb ourselves down... there is a very strong chance that it will indeed occur! America is no longer free, it is no longer a Christianized country as many would like to think and if we do not stay the course as true patriots , we will give away the Constitution and all the rights which have been outlined in the first ten ammendments. The line in the sand is clearly drawn.

The economic 'downturn' (a word bandied about because 'depression' is so... well... depressing), has already broken down many a family with job losses and provided the government with more Have-Nots than it knows what to do with. The people of this country have signed the dotted line to slavery through the manipulations of benefit programs for all those that need State aid. We have forgotten that government is to be a servant and not the dictator. We ask for permits and licenses for the right to earn money for our families. We allow ourselves to be bullied by thugs in uniforms at traffic stops and peaceful demonstrations and as we succumb to their terroristic means, we feed the beast called Big Government and it grows a bit larger.

Let us also not forget, Homeland Security. For the organized propagators of fear and intimidation have also enlisted new crusaders: the clergy of the 501c3 corporate churches who want to help you transition peacefully into the new order of the ages. Remember, a non-profit has to stay within State guidelines or else they may be bullied by the IRS themselves and those preachers cannot afford to lose their airy domiciles and houses of worship if they have their tax-exempt staus pulled. Who wants to give God a tithe and not write it off on their taxes? It's obscene!

So when the other shoe drops, and the imagined pandemic strikes, remember the men who will come to call, there will be several: the Homeland Security blessed clergy to soften the blow of the FEMA agents who will then direct everything in town to 'keep you safe'. The soldiers who will be aided by your local police to 'keep the peace' and the Center of Disease Control who will supply the innoculations to 'keep you healthy'. All I can is...God help us all and give them a greeting they won't soon forget.
