Supreme Court Treason Playing Out In Republican Primaries

At this point, it is impossible to deny that the Citizens United Supreme Court decision was an act of treason, totally exposing the US election system to unlimited influence by foreign nations.

Let's start with Sheldon Adelson, who has given $10 million to New Gingrich. Now, Adelson could be funding that $10 million out of his own resources. Or, Israel, which is Adelson's main interest, could send a Mossad agent, or a crew of Israelis or Israeli supporters seeded with money provided by Israel or Israelis, to Adelson's casino, to drop $10 million on the gaming tables.

There are hundreds of transnational corporations operation in the US, funding SuperPACs, using the "rights" the SCOTUS gave them through Citizens United. Those corporations play fast and loose with financial assets. They do it to avoid US taxes and they can do it to shift funds to be given to political candidates and PACs supporting campaigns. Only a liar or a fool would deny that this is not only possible, but likely.

To make matters worse, many companies operating in the US are actually subsidiaries of foreign corporations. And many American companies have foreign investors with major, influential holdings.

This has taken the United States to a situation where a plethora of SuperPACs are operating with little or no transparency, making it not only possible, but likely that foreigners-- individuals or even nations-- are directly influencing US elections. We're talking about foreign nations buying political influence, buying elections.

This was no accident. The five justices on the Supreme Court who delivered the Citizens United decision are smart enough to know what damage they were wreaking. Now the US is defenseless, totally open to invasion without guns or missiles. Who needs them when as little as ten million dollars can turn a presidential primary candidate who would otherwise be toast into a viable, competitive candidate.

It's clear that the congress is, but for a handful of senators and representatives, bought, paid for and owned by corporations. There will be no solution there. Bernie Sanders can't do it alone.

It will take the people of the US speaking out in unison if the US is to be defended from the literal war on US democracy that the traitors at the Supreme Court opened the doors to with their CItizens United decision. It's that simple. We do it ourselves or it won't get done.
