Many young people get Stuck in Stupid Because, in their efforts to be grown-up They act like children And this is stupid
Some of them join the military At the prompting of certain grown-ups Who are Stuck in Stupid And this is very stupid
Some of these young people go to Iraq And take their being Stuck in Stupid to extremes By treating the human beings there like refuse And this is way beyond stupid
Some of these young people wake up And, if they can handle it Get Unstuck from Stupid And this is not so stupid
Others stay Stuck in Stupid And become generals, politicians, or mercenaries Who teach young people how to be Stuck in Stupid And this is the stupidest thing of all
Some of these generals, politicians, and mercenaries Become respected personalities in society And even run for President of the United States And this is massively stupid
Meanwhile, some of those who've gotten smart Resist the pull from those who are Stuck in Stupid By setting a personal example for those who will listen And this is very, very smart indeed
They and others, who've gotten smart Become even more Unstuck from Stupid By voting for the man who's not Stuck in Stupid And this is the smartest thing of all
