Well, Election Day has finally arrived after a long and arduous campaign.  Now is the time for we the people to end the Republican strong-hold on our government.  Today being Election Day we must categorically end the Bush policies by electing Barack Obama president of the United States.

In his email distribution, Michael Moore had this to add below:

Expect trouble tomorrow. Stand your ground. Don't let some clerk turn you away. Make noise. Call the media if they won't let you vote. Let the Obama camp know. Check out his Voter Protection Center. Know where your polling place is. Be careful inside the voting booth. The ballot still reads like a Sudoku puzzle. Be prepared for long lines. That's ok, you know how to bring the party with you! Make new friends. Plot your local revolution. The 28-year rule of Republicans (and Democrats who act like Republicans) is over. The Reagan Era dies tomorrow night. My God, I truly thought it would never end.

Speaking of lines, do what you must to stay on that line.  You are one amongst many who will tell all, this era ends now and a new one will begin.

We were so close in 2000 and in 2004, but in 2008 we must prevail.  While some may be inclined to vote for either Nader or McKinney there are millions of Americans depending upon you to vote for Barack Obama.  People who have lost their jobs, their homes, and their health insurance.  These people have lost everything and in a selfless act, you can stand up for them and say through your vote, we the people have had enough!

Just today it was reported where GM, Ford and Chrysler are now in trouble.  The AP reported, “General Motors' October U.S. sales plunged 45 percent, and Ford's and Chrysler's weren't far behind, as low consumer confidence and tight credit combined to bring the industry's sales to an "unsustainably weak level" that is the worst in 25 years.” We must be there for those workers.

As patriotic Americans, it is your call to duty to stay in that line and vote for Barack Obama.  We can have all the philosophical debates down the road, but this time your country needs you.

Bring with you what you must to make your time in line enjoyable not only for you but for others.

Here are some fun things to do:

In bringing friends, wear silly hats and vote whose hat is the silliest.

Wear your clothes inside out and see how many strange looks you get and just laugh.

Wear left-over Halloween masks (not political ones though) and have a good time doing so.

Bring bubbles with you to blow and to swat.  I know that sounds silly, but it will help moral.  Also noise makers to help in the festivities.

If you have an IPod, bring it and listen to your favorite music and sing out-loud if necessary as a form of entertainment not only for you, but others.

Bring a Readers Digest and read the jokes that are contained within it aloud to others.  Just get the laughter going.

Bring with you fun things to eat either alone or as a group.  Make it a party with those around you by singing songs.
