Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce and Noodles

10 oz. dried medium egg noodles

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped fine

3 cloves garlic, crushed

4 oz small cooked shrimp, shelled

12 large cooked shrimp, shelled and deveined

1 small red bell pepper, sliced

4 scallions, chopped into 1- inch lengths

Freshly ground black pepper

1 tbsp sesame oil

8 tsp soy sauce

2 tbsp dry sherry

3 tbsp black bean sauce
