Drying the tears from my eyes, I invite you to share your hopes and joys today.

Where to begin.

We are in a time of new beginnings-- a new president, a first for blacks, a first in eight years for Democrats.

WE are in a time of breakthroughs, of passing old limits, exceeding old beliefs and expectations.

We are in a time where things are being done that have never been done before, where people are seeing possibilities they never saw before-- for themselves, for their families, their race, culture, the nation and the world.

We are in dream time.  We will wake up. We will face hard times. But today, this moment, is a good one where hope soars high.
