Sarah and her husband Todd Palin each owned a 20% share in a car wash in Anchorage, the Washington Post reports.

Two problems! One, she failed to report it on her candidate disclosure form, when running for governor.

Two, the firm was shut down by the state for failure to perform legal responsibilities. This occurred AFTER Palin became governor.

The Washington Post article reports,

A Feb. 11, 2007 letter to the governor's business partner advises that the car wash had "not filed its biennial report and/or paid its biennial fees," which were more than a year overdue.

The warning letter was written on state letterhead, which carried Palin's name at the top, next to the state seal.

On April 3, 2007, the state went further and issued a "certificate of involuntary dissolution" because of the car wash's failure to file its report and pay state licensing fees.

Palin also registered another business with the state-- Rouge Cou-- which translates to red neck from French.

And redneck's what Bristol Palin's fiance reports he's proud to be on his myspace page.
