According to the Human Rights Committee, their most recent warning against the Republican party is one that should not be ignored. This week, they want to take away the rights of lesbians, gays, and other people who do not conform to the Republican bigotry and standards.
They have already attacked those women who believe that it is their right to make decisions about their own bodies, as in whether or not to have an abortion. Especially whether to abort a baby who was conceived via rape! What do those right wingers think? That the baby, created by a rapist, will grow up to be a Republican and therefore vote their way? Are these people nuts?
Watching their endless so-called debates is like watching the clown car at a circus drive up and seeing an endless stream of clowns pile out of the car. One comedian said this is the best thing that could happen to the Democrats. Watching these Republican debates is chasing voters to the Democrat party and away from the right wing bigots.
It simply amazes me that so much hatred, lies, bigotry, and desire to reverse civil rights could come from one group of people! Have you ever noticed that when you speak to Republicans about politics, if you stray from the Republican Party Line, their eyes roll up in their heads, their ears close, and all of a sudden you become aware of the fact that they are not listening to a word you have said? I often wonder if this is something they are trained to do or if they are born with this kind of ability to block out an opposing opinion.
The election is coming in less than a year from now. Choose wisely, since those civil rights they are taking away now may, in the future, be those which you believe in and need. Pretty soon, the Republicans will be equal to the Emperors of Olde Roman Empires, and turn their thumbs down at the things you find you need to sustain your lives. But don't say you weren't warned. After all, we all have warned you in every way that we can. You simply have chosen to not hear us, or not listen to us, or both. It's your lives too, so choose wisely and choose well.
