They've all, just about every one of them, spent many years raising families, working hard at their jobs and professions, and paid plenty of taxes on that income accordingly.
But they have just about had it with the amount of their - our - tax dollars that are being used to fund wars like the current ones in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And if they hear another story about big companies making huge profits but paying no taxes, watch out.
So as Tax Day 2010 approached, the Grannies came up with a new song parody to vent their frustrations, and to help spread their message of tax policy reform.
In their new two-minute YouTube video, the Grannies start out singing from a pleasant little Palm Beach County patio - before taking their very special brand of protest to a nearby shopping center and tax preparation office.
A couple of lessons to be learned from these wonderful women are:
It's important to pay our fair share of taxes no matter how pissed off we are at how the government chooses to collect and spend that money.
And it's equally important to find creative, constructive ways to vent that anger, peacefully agitating for change.
