"You can run but you can not hide."
I used to think the above age old axiom was true. Yet lately, the McCain-Bush, Cheney-Palin twinsets seem to be the exception to the rule. They are running and hiding willy-nilly throughout the country, tossing barbs and platitudes full of nonsense, as they change disguises at will. One day they appear as changlings, and the next, full throat-ed neocons disparaging their own party, themselves, Obama, and the world as if they have a bad case amnesia. They are Republicans. A word never heard today.
Gov. Sarah Palin, embroiled in a coverup of her own making, is jetting about the country with the staff of Entertainment Tonight, while the press, who have serious questions to ask, are sitting in the back of the plane, bound and gagged. And may I say dismissed.
She and her Neocon handlers trust no one. These failed minions of the White house, fill her head with the failed policies they have wrought upon America, and are coaching her on smoke and mirror propaganda and how to curl your lip and snarl when asked to defend those policies. She is pretty good at never giving a straight answer, just speak in tongues and confuse everyone seems to be her strong point.
The "Bums Rush" gambit is in full swing, I think she may call in sick for her debate. She needs an earpiece implant if she is going to get through any debate, and her church may not allow surgery.
Her disturbing attitude towards women is beginning to show. She makes women pay for rape kits, turning a victim into a consumer is a clever Republican value. "Oh, you were raped?, "Why not go shopping". "Spend a few bucks, it will make you feel better." "Was it incest?", "Why that's just great! You can be a mother and an aunt and a sister, all at the same time." Far, far right wing nonsense, all wrapped up in platitudes and a curling of the lip.
Does her cousin own the rape kit factory? We will never know. She won't answer questions. No way, no how, is becoming a little tiring as the paint fades from the shiny new car. The new car is not a Vette.

p.s. I'm going back to the mad hatters party. They will both be gone in October. Sarah to defend her impeachment in Alaska, and McCain will be put out to pasture, reasons undisclosed at this time.
