In a long odds, valiant effort to send a message to Washington that it is time to end the war and impeach Cheney and Bush, Shirley Golub had little chance and a lot of gumption.

Pro-Impeachment Shirley Golub took 11% of the democratic vote in the house primary for Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco 8th CA district.

Golub, ran in opposition to Pelosi, the best funded candidate in the house, with less than 5% the funding, strongly opposed any further funding of the war and strongly supported putting impeachment back on the table.

Golub ran a creative campaign, including sending a supporter dressed as a chicken to Washington, sending the message that there was no sense sending a chicken to Washington, as she characterized Pelosi, for her failure to end the war and impeach Cheney and Bush.

PACK UP ALL YOUR CARE AND WOE, HERE I GO SINGING LOW

BYE BYE BLACKBIRD.

If a Liberal area in san francisco (sic) loves Pee loosely, then what are we

expecting come November with the sheeple being brain washed by the

Ill  looming nazis! Baruch atoy adenoi will not sit right in rebel territory,

nor with the matronly madames of Manhattan.

Bye bye black bird!

Having lived six decades now, I've had a lot of experiences! Grew up in a family often oppressed because of our faith - we stood for peace and against war, and for the rights of all regardless of ethnic background. Active from youth in peace and civil rights. Vietnam-era draft resister. Worked for a while for peace and social justice groups, and then became a civil servant. Felt a call to a consistent life ethic, and am currently serving as President of Consistent Life. All this is out of Chr...

Did the voters know about her?

Not too long ago, I did a Google News search on Golub.  I was amazed at the apparent failure of the MSM to cover the race.  Getting 11% with no serious MSM coverage is actually good.  It doesn't indicate the sentiment of the district because probably most voters didn't realize there was a real race going on.  It does show the power of the MSM.

No, pro-impeachment Golub is the heroine of the day

There was absolutely NO DEFEAT.

People learned how to work together, which will stand California in good stead when the earthchanges come !!  No more kat a reenas where people were at a loss for leadership until they were FORCED to work together for survival.

I bless the day Shirley came and inspired us all ..

It was a brilliant plan .. and showed people who were listening how hard it is to get anyplace without WAR CRIMES charges being filed.

Shirley is a damned good patriot.  BRAVO, Shirley !!  Many kisses.
