government in most of Afghanistan, a government Ronald Reagan spoke
well of. The legislature we replaced the Taliban with in Kabul has
years asked us to stop the bombings killing citizens, to negotiate with
the Taliban, declare a 35 year amnesty for all and that all foreign
armies leave.

created and will go on creating more and more recruits to fight
invasions of Muslim lands and the cruelly indiscriminate and heartless
use of U.S. and allies air power and technology

You owe it to knowledge that al Qaeda exists in many many countries
besides Afghanistan and Pakistan, and that fighters were encouraged by
CIA to come to Afghanistan from around the Muslim world and fight the
Soviets.
You owe it to remember that it was
President Carter that began the
thirty years of war and destruction in Afghanistan in early 1979,
secretly funding, arming and training the fundamentalist hill tribes
who did not want their daughters in the schools built by the women
liberating socialist Kabul government, Brzezinski advising that it
would frighten the USSR into entering the war in its defense and entrap
the Soviets.
