Summer Tree

Ploughed deep into the ground from high above

Mother Nature gives form to formless love

The Father Spirit kisses his Essence-Born-Into-Existence

My heart encircles what is its own Sustaining Persistence

I am this Mother Planet, my soul and senses perceive

I am tiny hologram integral to the weave

Just as my soul is part of Infinite Spirit

My body is a part of this vast planet

Respecting my cell-hood, I excel

If I take too much I am a cancer to be expelled

I will respect my rightful place in the woods

Until my soul more fully wears planethood

By love I become what I admire

Separation is overcome within by respect and desire

I fuse with what I take care to respect

Though final fusion I can not now detect

Habit wears a groove in the ether

Creation warps its subtle energy to adher

It sticks to me like glue for bad or good

My soul's evolution happens as I would


I am a hippy that never dropped out. I have held on to impossible idealism and will not give up. I think the human race is a ticking time bomb and we are at the last tick. So what is the good of slow careful pragmatism that allows time for it all to (more...)
