Listening to today: OneRepublic's Dreaming Out Loud
Question:
What happens to a dream deferred? Plan B...or Plan X, but no one is counting. I won't let it fester, stink, or crust and sugar over. I'm back home with no job, still dreaming.

This has no title because it's a freestyle...Mic check one, two, one, two...
Tossed into the flames,
beliefs and dreams up in smoke;
they all end the same:
recycled and deciphered by life's blows.

Bent into a odd fold,
who and what are now gone;
i need something to hold:
fighting and grappling with life's rose.

I'll end in time,
love and live in these days;
this is not a crime:
changing and falling in life's woes.

I can only be me.
I can only be me.

I guess I'm like many people right now, moving on to the next "plan".
