Cracks cross her cover.
She trembles with anxiety,
hungry for more nourishment
above her.

Tabernacles genuflect
before her power.
With brevity,
she mocks structure carved
by human vanity.

Following frenzy,
all is quiet.
Humanity is left
with random dislocated
perplexing puzzle pieces.

This,
one reminder that she,
alone,
owns fury she compels,
engages at her will.
She is not ours.
