For OpEdNews: Sandy Sand - Writer They tried to get the case dismissed, but the jury found the mother who tormented a 13-year-old girl on line, guilty on three misdemeanor counts that could net her up to three years in prison. Frankly, I would have brought federal torture charges against Lori Drew, 49, who perpetrated a cruel internet hoax on a 13-year-old girl, who ultimately killed herself. The jury rejected the felony charges of accessing computers without permission, while the judge dropped the conspiracy charges.
The mother of the young victim said the trial was never about vengeance, but about justice.
How about a little bit of vengeance along with the justice?
If Drew is sentenced to the full three years in the slam she can benefit from the same treatment she dished out to the teenager from her cell mates, Large Marge and Shotgun Sally.
