I don't know which nursery rhyme would be more appropriate this morning. Either London Bridge is Falling Down or Humpty Dumpty. But I guess either could be true.

Occupy D.C. seems, to me, to be entering its final stages. As the temperatures are dropping, people are staying more and more in their tents and structure and organization is slowly falling apart. As the thermometer heads south, tempers are heading north.

This morning about 5 a.m., I'm asleep in my tent. I hear some ruckus going on on the sidewalk from the direction of the kitchen. I laid there a while trying to go back to sleep, but the noise continued. It's obvious that there is a disagreement of some sort, but I can't figure out what it is.

So I crawl out of the tent and grab my camera as I go. I'm either going to get some good shots or I'm going to hit someone with it for waking me up. Some guy, whom I've never seen around McPherson Square, is ranting and raving about nothing. He's also rushing people for no reason. The de-escalation team steps in, but not before the cops get there. The cops cuff him and stuff him, then return to the onlookers to see if anyone had seen anything.

No one saw a thing. Reminds me of Sgt. Schultz on Hogan's Heroes back in the 60s. "I see nothing."

Occupy D.C. can't continue much longer like this. Last night there was supposed to be a rave starting at 8 p.m. By 9:30, an electrical extension cord couldn't be found, so the party was late getting started. I'm not big into raves anyway, so I hit the rack. The last thoughts on my mind? If these people can't even organize a rave, how do they expect to organize a revolution?

And then this morning, Humpty Dumpty starts to fall.
