'The majority of citizens of Russia now believe that a nuclear war is possible in today's world, according to the findings of a survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation (Fond Obshchestvennoye Mneniye). The nuclear threat, according to respondents, comes primarily from the United States. The tense international environment and the problems in Ukraine have only increased the fear of Russians, the experts believe.

'According to the data collected at the end of June by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), 64 percent of Russians believe that a "military conflict involving nuclear weapons" could start in today's world"' click here

There is no indication the United States will significantly change any of its policies that would reduce the risk of nuclear war.

ISIS, following Bush's example, have elected to use a ploy designed to draw us in to a deeper war. 'Bring it on'.

Obama, like Bush, seems to see himself as a heroic figure, a Decider, 'A War President' no less, selected by God (note the national prayer meetings) to save the Onward-Christian-Soldier- Flag from the ongoing treats from Terrorists, Commies, Protestors, Free-Loaders, Used Veterans, Moslems, Atheists, Intellectuals, Riff Raff, Common Criminals, non trust-protected children and " the list goes on.

The massive increase in spending on war represents a demanded benefit by the Ruling Class. However, things may not work out as planned this time.

The massive costs of war and Empire will halt any possible funding that could actually benefit us. Remember us? Folks who are underprivileged anyhow; the Austerity Class; we, the people. Most of us could benefit from a real economy, will now face the prospect of even deeper cuts in Social Security, Medicare, and other vital government programs that actually help people, and in many cases enable them to survive.

The social disruptions that are increasing in their numbers and intensity will become exponentially worse. Local newscasts in Los Angeles, or any mega-city, could probably use the entire hour just to cover suicides, if all were known and reported: suicide by cop; suicide by driving the wrong way on the highway; taking the Hemmingway out.

The open-ended cost of the Police State will eventually become overbearing. Retaliation at some point will become momentous.

The 1% may eventually get to the point where they have to forgo some of their Teddy Bear Wealth, in an attempt to counter a real revolution. As we know, they will demand any cost to them be balanced by increased sources of profit and growth.

On the other hand, the Russians have an eye on us. Eyeball this report from Russia Times:

'A pair of Russian bomber jets reportedly practiced cruise missile attacks against targets in the United States last week, according to a report published on Monday in the Washington Free Beacon.'

Bill Gertz, a writer for the Beacon, reported that two Russian Tu-95 Bear bombers were tracked flying over the Labrador Sea last week in the northern Atlantic Ocean near Iceland, Greenland and Canada as part of a recent training mission.

'Analysis of the flight indicated the aircraft were conducting practice runs to a pre-determined 'launch box' -- an optimum point for firing nuclear-armed cruise missiles at US targets," Gertz wrote, citing unnamed defense officials he described as being familiar with intelligence reports. The aircraft, Gertz added, are outfitted with six AS-15 nuclear-armed cruise missiles, each capable of striking targets as far away as 1,800 miles. '

Teacher; Corporate lackey. I believe the assassinations of JFK and RFK were a coup d'Ã ©tat.
