Obama Middle East Policy: Israeli Right Wing on the Offensive

by Richard Volaar     Page 1 of 1 page(s)

Tell A Friend

According to Debkafiles and in harmony with the Israeli right wing Likudniks, Obama and the incoming Olmert government are sending the "green light" to Syria's Assad for the political, possibly military, takeover of Beirut.

Over the last month, Syria has signed a major naval port deal with Russia, received anti-aircraft missiles from Russia and has taken to surrounding Lebanon on its northern and eastern borders.

Why would an incoming Obama administration attempt to join forces with an incoming Olmert administration that is clearly signalling appeasement to an ever oil-hungry Russian bear?  On the western border of a militarily sensitive, if not entirely vulnerable, Iraq?  With an alleged terrorist co-conspirator in Iran on Iraq's eastern border?

My thinking here is that Debka is running a psyop and attempting to get the Obama Administration to tip their hand one way or the other.  It simply is not enough for the Likudniks that Obama has a former Israeli Defense Forces civilian volunteer and AIPAC cheerleader as its chief of staff, they have to have an immediate response to the consequences of their every misguided whim.

I hasten to remind the gentle reader that the Mossad unilaterally declared, and has very likely acted on (on US soil) a policy of political murder against the enemies of Israel.  Which enemies?  Israel's right wing gets to make that call.

I really do not believe that Barak Obama, or his mentor Brzezinski, would sign off on Russian imperialism by rewarding its chief enabler in that region, Syria.  The only thing that would exceed the stupidity of such a policy would be its utter lack of intelligence.

I think it would reasonable to assume that the neo-cons in Israel are looking for a pulse from the neo-cons elsewhere in the world.  With the impending fall of the House of Bush on the horizon, the pro-military, pro-fascist neo-conservative agenda is on the ropes.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bushi'ites aren't the ones calling on the Mossad to stir this one up for them, using Debkafiles, so that they can slip out the back door and escape accountability for the consequences of their failed policies -- one more time.

Word-up, Israel: Russia on your northern border is your problem, too.  While we are busily trying to repair the damage your paranoia has done to our foreign policy and military infrastructure, you might want to consider getting off your duffs and begin showing the gumption it takes to keep bears caged and asleep.

Chinese food usually does the trick.

Is Rahm Emanuel Qualified?

Rahm Emanuel being an Israeli citizen and having served in the IDF should not be allowed a Security Clearance to work in the Executive Branch of the United States Government.

Are there no 100% Citizens of the United States that are qualified for this job?

Sorry but you're not making too much sense, Richard.

I really do not believe that Barak Obama, or his mentor Brzezinski, would sign off on Russian imperialism by rewarding its chief enabler in that region, Syria.

In case you didn't know, the USraeli Empire's been poking Russia in the eye with a stick since the USSR collapsed. That Russia finally is pushing back a little bit can hardly be called "imperialism".

BTW, if the Empire starts being "nice" to Syria, you can bet it's part of a calculated attempt to isolate Iran.

The only thing that would exceed the stupidity of such a policy would be its utter lack of intelligence.

LOL! Now there's a grammatically meaningful statement.

I think it would reasonable to assume that the neo-cons in Israel are looking for a pulse from the neo-cons elsewhere in the world.  With the impending fall of the House of Bush on the horizon, the pro-military, pro-fascist neo-conservative agenda is on the ropes.

It's way too early to make a call like that. The PNACers may yet get their "big war", directly or indirectly from Obama.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Bushi'ites aren't the ones calling on the Mossad to stir this one up for them, using Debkafiles, so that they can slip out the back door and escape accountability for the consequences of their failed policies -- one more time.

I think you have it backwards. Bush doesn't dictate much of anything to Tel-Aviv.

Word-up, Israel: Russia on your northern border is your problem, too.

LOL! Well frankly almost any country that has the unmitigated gall to pursue an independent foreign policy is a "problem" for Israel.

While we are busily trying to repair the damage your paranoia has done to our foreign policy and military infrastructure,

ROTFL! Who's "we"? Certainly nobody that I know of.

you might want to consider getting off your duffs and begin showing the gumption it takes to keep bears caged and asleep.

Huh? It's time for Israel to take some serious action against Russia to show 'em who's boss? How dare Russia defend its interests against the Empire's relentless encroachment?

Who will Rahm Emanuel Represent?

Being a member of AIPAC, will Rahm Emanuel be working for the best interests of the 100% Citizens of the United States or will he be promoting expending more blood and treasure of the United States for the land that the Zionists covet, much like what Supreme Court Justice Bandeis did by helping convince President Wilson to turn a European War into World War I and expend United States blood and treasure to overthrow the Ottoman Empire and thus help the Zionists obtain the Middle East Land that they Covet?

FYI: Rahm Emmanuel IS A US Citizen

He renounced his Israeli citizenship when he ran for the House and won.  He was born in the US, but his father was an Israeli citizen, which meant that Rahm was a dual citizen as far as Israel was concerned.

But his AIPAC and Freddie Mac involvements drag his image down in my eyes.  Which, I'm sure, just disturbs the hell out of the entire Obama administration.

If Israel has been poking the Russian bear in the eye, they need to find themselves a new ally.  Russia has the resources to become a superpower, once again, now that the US has blown its wad keeping Iraqi oil off the market.  I could think of a million better things to do with my country's limited resources than annoying a country of hard asses who haven't lost a major battle until their last one...the same one we're losing, too.

Obama may need to START with the Fairness Doctrine reinstatment, FIRST...otherwise, the neo-cons will bake him no matter how well he does legislatively and with his policies.  Just like they did Clinton.
