The previous US administration headed by George W. Bush has made heavy investment in war without considering the consequeces. The present economic crisis in the United States and other parts of the world is the result of wrong policies adopted by Bush. He has left the world in complete disarray. There is still fighting in various parts of the world. Thousands of people have been killed and millions have been affected by the war.

There are positive indications from the Obama administration as he has been concentrating on peace. Now there is hope that Obama will make investment in peace.

Almost all organisations of the world have been making investment in war. Media is also making investment in war as it has still been publishing the threatening statements of terrorists with the sole aim of shattering the peace of the world. The statements of Osama bin Laden, Pakistan's Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud and other leaders have been getting place in the Pakistani and international media.

According to tribal elders, the Pakistani and US newspapers instead of highlighting the activities of terrorists should consentrate on encouraging the peace activists. Why the terrorists and criminals are being given such a huge coverage in the media?

But now Barack Obama is ruling the world. He wants peace, therefore, the US official media should also change its attitude. The US official media including Voice of America and AP should be directed to highlight the activities of peace lovers.

The Voice of America has been running a radio in Pashto language  for tribal areas, but it is regrettable it has been controlled by those people, who have been favouring the terrorists. Why the American public money should be used for promotion of terrorism? I think this money should be used for the promotion of peace. If there is will there is a way. The peace can be restored. We should be hopeful all the time. If we lose the hope then we lose all the things. We should not lose the hope.

The End
