No Sophistry in Peakian Theory: Metro New York Audience to be Met With Grace and Skillful Argument

Peake rose to prominence as a binary mind theorist when his theoretical essay Cheating the Ferryan:  A New Paradigm of Existence?  was published by the Journal of Near Death Studies in 2005 and received praise from Carlson Professor of Psychiatry,  Bruce Greyson.  Since then, Peake has published 2 full texts which defend his theory, and delivered hundreds of lectures and radio broadcasts throughout Great Britain and Europe.  Charged with sophistry and solipsism  -   generally by those who are too impatient to read fully his treatise,  or to listen to his argument  -  Peake engages in no sophistry,  but responds gracefully and modestly.  What distinguishes him from a host of current consciousness theorists is his lack of new age softness,  and his decidedly rigorous stance against sentimentality or over-optimism.  His conclusions are drawn tentatively;  his stance is modest, almost delicate.  

His revision of Nietzschean eternal recurrence theory is bolstered with vigorous quantum physics,  Bohmian implicate order theorizing,  neurology,  binary brain studies,  and classical epistemology.  It is a truism that quantum physics has been popularized in a fashion which has destroyed its credibility:  Academic scientists are rightfully appalled;  serious philosophers,  impatient and disenchanted.   One only need look at the "What the Bleep Do We Know"  set to see,  and comprehend,  what a hijacking of sound theory has occurred by a rogue group of quantum consciousness do-gooders.  Peake stands aloof and alone from such a crowd.  He promises little,  but delivers wisdom solid,  edifying,  and reasonable.  Stunning in its assertions,  his theory is simple, concise, and streamlined in its delivery.  Peake offers new life and a fresh perspecitve  -  sorely needed by many who are disenchanted with new age consciousness propagandizing  -  and does so with dignity and manly vigor.  Metro New Yorkers and discriminating intellectuals will not be disappointed in this cheater of the ferryman from Wirral,  England.  The event will begin at 6 pm;  the hotel is on Madison Avenue @ East 45th St.,  NYC,  Midtown East,  10017.  There will be a public reception for Mr.  Peake with complimentary bar and buffet for lecture attendees,  courtesy of Gnosis Arts Multimedia.  All events are open to press and public, but registration is required at Event Site (Peake).
