A recent poll out on the 100th day of President Barack Obama's term, found that only 21% of Americans now identify themselves as Republicans, the fewest since 1983.  This was almost simultaneously followed by the defection of one of the few remaining GOP moderates, Senator Arlen Spector from Pennsylvania to the Democratic party. Leaders of the GOP appear to be wandering in the wilderness.

The DNC released a new ad today parodying the current quest to find a new GOP leader as the latest "Survivor" series. Who will be voted off the island?

GOP take note: Fearmongering, hate and single issue platforms are no longer resonating with the American public. Quick fixes, Joe the Plumber, party coup d'etats and teabagging will not get you out of the wilderness
