Democratic Ben "I don't support the public plan because it would win the game--i.e. provide better cheaper health care" Nelson has threaetened to cancel health care for America because he is too sensitive and it hurts his poor little feelings that people criticize him for taking the side of corporate private insurers. Boo-hoo.

Reminds me of the office episode where Michael Scott (Steve Carell) breaks up with his girlfriend on Christmas and emerges from his office, distraught, to cancel Christmas.

Michael: I'd like everybody's attention. Christmas is canceled.

Stanley: You can't cancel a holiday, Michael.

Michael: Keep it up, Stanley and you'll lose New Year's.

Stanley: What's that mean?

Michael: Jim, take New Year's away from Stanley.

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America launched an ad that goes after fake-Democratic Senator Ben Nelson for taking over $2 million from the health and insurance industries and...drum roll, guess what?...opposing a public health insurance option!!! NO WAY!!!

Out of touch with his Party, out of touch with average Americans.

Senator Ben Nelson got his panties all up in a bunch over the ad and threatened to kill health care reform for all Americans in retaliation. The dictators in the Democratic Party are beginning to emerge, friends. It reminds me of the oppressive French monarchies. And Ben "I won't support the public plan because it's too cost effective" Nelson, bears an eerie resemblance to Marie Antoinette, who, it is rumored replied when notified that peasants were starving, "Let them eat cake."

These "centrist" Democrats are emerging as enemies of the American people, directly at odds with the supposed leadership of the Democratic Party. Where is Senator Harry Reid to knock heads around? Why not kick Senator Nelson out of the Party alogether, strip him of all his committee assignments and positions of power? Let the Republicans have him. He votes with them and their America-hating, small business owner-hating, self-promoting, special interest agenda.
