A John McCain quote, complete with finger quote marks, from last night’s debate:

MCCAIN: He's (Obama) health for the mother. You know, that's been stretched by the pro-abortion movement in America to mean almost anything.

That's the extreme pro-abortion position, quote, "health."

If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what does. To accentuate his negative point, McCain made the tired old hold-up-the-fingers “quotation” marks for emphasis.

And, Johnny. It’s not a pro-abortion movement; it’s a pro-choice movement. But then, Johnny wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the nose, nor can he ever speak the truth.

Maybe McCain had a stroke of enlightenment and realized what a horrid thing he said, or someone whispered in his ear, because he immediately followed it with:

But that does not mean that we will cease to protect the rights of the unborn. Of course, we have to come together. Of course, we have to work together, and, of course, it's vital that we do so and help these young women who are facing such a difficult decision, with a compassion, that we'll help them with the adoptive services, with the courage to bring that child into this world and we'll help take care of it.

How full of crap can he get before it turns his eyes dark brown and comes spewing out of his ears?

It’s been reported for months that McCain is a wife abuser -- in private as well as in public -- and now he openly want to abuse the rest of us women by insulting us and demeaning us on the question of our most private and personal health care matters.

Now we know ‘fer sure’ that McCain not only abuses his wife, but he wants to abuse all women.

We gotta love the hypocrisy. McCain and his empty-headed running mate, Sarah Palin, keep sayin’ they’re a wantin’ smaller government, ‘ceptin’ when it comes ta the most important things personal things: Our pregnancies and our marriages, don’tcha know?

All the spin in the world can’t get him out of this one, but NOW can blast him, NOW!

If “maverickness” is slamming and belittling women’s health, then McCain and his red meat supporters can have him…in another country on another planet in a different universe.
