NIST: "Then a Miracle Occurs"

by George Washington     Page 1 of 1 page(s)

Tell A Friend

NIST's explanation for the collapse of World Trade Center 7 on September 11th follows the logic in the cartoon above.

Specifically, NIST claims that the collapse of building 7 is "the first known instance of fire causing the total collapse of a tall building".

But then goes on to argue:
"The fires in WTC 7, which were uncontrolled but otherwise similar to fires experienced in other tall buildings, caused an extraordinary event"
In fact, the fires in WTC 7 were orders of magnitude less than other high-rise fires, which did not produce collapses.

My parody from yesterday is not much sillier than NIST's real explanation.

George Washington

George Washington is a pen name. I am using the pen name, with the approval of the publisher, because I have received death threats due to my 9/11 research and writing. I am using a pen name to protect myself and my family.

Stuff happens, each and every day, somewhere

And of course, the idea that someone would deliberately implode an obscure building with apparently a new kind of silent explosive in order to presumably destroy a bunch of papers, which likely would have been backed up or duplicated somewhere else, or may have been found in the rubble pile anyway, makes so much more sense.

Along with the stellar logic that a bunch of far-removed non or ill-qualified guys in black t-shirts somehow have superior ability to analyze a complicated building collapse cause and sequence.

The laws of physics & thermodynamics are NOT violated...

..."each and every day, somewhere."  They are not violated EVER.  Perhaps that may change with the new collider at CERN, but that will take some serious effort by a lot of serious scientists.

Read George Washington's blog and visit http://physics911.net.  These are not unqualified guys in black T-shirts.  Unless professors of physics, structural engineers, experts in building demolition and intelligence professionals suddenly lack the qualification to do their day jobs.

The "stuff happens" happens when people spout off without knowing what the heck they're talking about.

People lie, and they lie for whatever reason.

Sometimes they lie to manipulate, sometimes to get out of a tight spot or to be able to blame someone else, and so on. People lied when they were at school, and they continue to lie as adults - if it looks like they might be caught cheating by their spouse, when they might be blamed for some incident at work, in courts of law, or for pure manipulation for gain, as in advertising or as is done by most politician. And most often they don't, or hardly, know that they lie, and they feel no pangs of conscience about it, either out of some abstract respect for the truth, or out of respect for the persons being lied to, and so on. It's nothing new and not really very amazing. What is amazing is that there are others who are taken in by the lies, whose "instinctive sensing of reality" is so attrophied that they are so easily fooled, particularly if the lies are repeated often enough, and when other people begin to repeat the lies. This is the unconcsious life of man, the lying is unconscious and the being fooled by the lies is unconscious.
