Myanmar: Man Killed by His Own Bomb in Burma

Following Saturday's bomb blast, at a sports field in a northern Yangon suburb, another bomb blast occurred on Sunday in Yangon's Shwepyithar Township. The bomb exploded around 17h00, 19 October, killing one man. Reportedly the bomb was home-made and the man was killed by his own bomb.

Vigorous Burmese Students Warrior (VBSW)

Saturday's bomb blast had no casualties. On Monday a Burmese armed student rebel group, Vigorous Burmese Students Warrior (VBSW), have claimed responsibility for Saturday's bomb blast.

The military goverment typically blame NLD and ethnic rebel groups for bomb blasts.
