Although Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country, the Sri Lanka government did not react to the Myanmar government during the Saffron Revolution led by the Buddhist monks in Myanmar, 2007.

Once again, Sri Lanka is a democratic country, but the government of Sri Lanka continues to remain silent on Aung San Suu Kyi. I have little doubt this country will not release any statements or express concerns over Myanmar pro-deomcracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
