With the near-complete takeover and manipulation of our country by Big Corporations, is our government now broken beyond repair? China owns the debt, five monopolies own the media, and a handful of corporate giants own the rest.

Is it time to let those phony patriots, the Teabaggers, finish this round of the American experiment so we can finally return to the kind of Democracy promised in our Constitution? You remember -- the document Dubya called "a goddam piece of paper?"

If the Republicans win in November, the truly frightening aspect about the freshman crop of Teabaggers is that they are uniformly nuttier than a Snickers bar. They make wrist-slitter Michele Bachmann seem sane by comparison. How bad is it when you have to start a darkly-shot campaign ad featuring her seeming disembodied floating head stating, "First of all, I am not a witch -- I'm you," as Christine O'Donnell just did?

Or the latest offbeat bragging by (Nut)Meg "Juicy" Whitman about all her backroom deals and connections to powerful establishment GOPers . . . after she campaigned on the platform of no more backroom deals.

How about Carl Paladino's bid to become Governor of New York and his explicit photos of women having sex with horses and questionable connections to organized crime? Fugheddaboutit.

Scarier still, there are people who will vote for them. Lots of them. And they are the true victims of the Corporate-owned media machine.
