The second major BLUNDER, next to the invasion of Iraq, is Nancy Pelosi's refusal to hold the Bush administration accountable for their treasonous policy decisions, and it may be the reason that Republicans win the next Presidential election and continue to take our nation on its current downward spiral.

The speaker of the house has exhibited the same stubborn and arrogant behavior which she accuses the Bush administration of, by STAYING THE COURSE in refusing to hold impeachment hearings and demanding accountability, against the wishes of a majority of American citizens. She has taken it upon herself to be the DECIDER while making a vital strategic BLUNDER. Sound familiar?

Why would a vast majority of Americans vote for the same party who has taken this nation down a path of self-destruction as if there were no other alternative? Perhaps because Nancy Pelosi has by now proven that the Democrats are not the solution to restoring what only eight years ago, was perceived as a powerful and prosperous nation. Her elementary and mistaken belief that Americans will vote for Democrats simply because of the divisive and destructive policies of the Republicans may prove to be detrimentally wrong. She has simultaneously revealed the Democrats inability to derail the disparaging path of this Neo-Conservative administration, while appearing to be strong-armed by them. More than any other time in our nations' history, we need strong leadership, and Nancy Pelosi is complicit in establishing a perception that the Democratic party is weak. Americans are now faced with deciding between WEAKNESS and STRENGTH, not RIGHT and WRONG, or GOOD and BAD.

With a diminishing economy, an enormous amount of national debt, contemptuous international relations, a recession and the likelihood of a depression, inflation, ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the threat of a war with Iran, possible involvement in the Russia-Georgia conflict, and with no end in sight, Americans fear that a WEAK administration could be their demise.

Considering the Bush administration's blatant disregard and manipulation of laws, it appalls me to listen to Nancy Pelosi continue making excuses for Congress' inability to do their job, and I question whose side she is really on. By not sustaining the will of the American people, she has defined the Democrats as undependable and has jeopardized the chances of a Democratic win.

A commitment by the Democratic congress to hold this administration accountable, presenting strength, dependability and willingness to adhere to the will of the American people could have made a difference in the upcoming election.

Thanks to Nancy Pelosi, Republicans may win the presidential election and we will continue with four more years of fear-mongering and destructive policies.

Barack Is Nancy Pelosi In Pants

The best definition I have ever read of Barack Obama was written in the comment section of this current poll in Oped:

http://www.opednews.com/maxwrite/page_poll.php?show=votes&pid=163

W. Christopher Epler defined Barack as just Nancy Pelosi in pants.

In truth, they both wear pants and both have cowered to the traitors who have nearly destroyed the United States of America.

Pelosi just a variation on a cross-dressing theme, or trend

When we were at the Democratic Convention of 1984, we stood beneath a banner that stretched the length of a high rise, and two floors down, and that read "Do we fear our enemies more than we love our children?" And beneath that benevolent and graphic question, setting the scene, we chatted with a book store owner who had a photo of Feinstein in his window mocking her career and person, and defined her as "Nixon in a wig."

I never forgot that phrase, savoring the depth of truth.  ( And now, as if channeling her fellow trickster Californian from the south, she's put out for our perusal legislation that would remove ALL voter verified "hard" copy for electronic voting machines, leaving us with only vapor, no paper. )

In that same sense, her SF compatriot in the House can serve as the political, and fashion, paradigm for Obama, he the rendition of her political esprit, in pants.  I have wondered just how this whole fiasco and charade ( the only untroublng component of which is the cross-dress-a-thon ) had been "styled" since I first read the surreal news in Time Magazine some months ago that a local Nebraska chapter of the Republican Party had organized an "Omaha for Obama" onomatopoeia campaign.

Then, or about then, when I saw him ( Barack ) on CSPAN addressing with great warmth the Cuban American National Foundation group that was hosted by Jorge Mas Canosa, son of one of the most odious terrorists to ever live on our soil, and right hand man to Posada Carriles, I finally had my New World Order fashion statement:  Obama may, in fact, be J. Edgar Hoover in pants.

 It's all so confusing.

I am a retired opera singer. I was a leading soprano with the New York City Opera for ten years. I am a strong supporter of Dennis Kucinich and worked for his campaign in 2004. I believe that he is the ONLY honest man in congress. He has been working against this insane war since before it began. I am 72 years old and I have been so frustrated with the media, the Congress and the American people that they don't tell the truth.

Pelosi, the traitor!

We have only ourselves to blame for the actions of Traitor Pelosi. She is not a credit to her sex. She is a crazed -eye, political hack who should be tossed out on her butt. If I lived in California I would vote for Cindy Sheehan to replace Pelosi.

How does one tell if a person is crazy and false?  She smiles at the wrong things and at the wrong times, like Hillary does. As she makes edicts like, Impeachment is off the table, she smiles and tries to make us think that she knows something we don't know. But we know that she is either accepting bribes from the Bush crime family or she is being threatened in some way. In either case there are alternatives to failing the American people. She could appeal to the people and ask for help. She could also step down and make sure that impeachment takes place.

There is a revolution coming in this country if something doesn't change and soon. We, the people, are very, very angry. We voted for a change in 2006 and nothing changed even though Congress had the  power to make changes. They went ahead and voted more blood money for the war to continue when they could have just refused to allow that to happen.

Take control with  your vote to make a real change in this country and let's hope that it's not too late. Tell the candidates that war is not the answer to any question, that we want a not for profit health care plan, that we want equal pay for jobs, that we want the outscourcing of jobs to stop and we want the killing to stop immediately and that the people we elect must use diplomacy to resolve conflicts.

Ask Dennis Kucinich how to do all of this. He seems to be one of the few people in Congress who understands that if we don't do this there might not be a world anymore.
